Ammie's pov:

The next morning we were all in the dining hall eating breakfast when Mrs King came in.

"All students in their final year, please go to the hall for an assembly." She said.

"I wonder what for..."

"Exams? University?" Abi answered me. Oh yeah. We've been applying for university since the beginning of the year. I'm applying for Law, Nikki is applying for English Literature and History and Abi is applying for Journalism.

"I can't be dealing with university applications, my personal statement took two months to do." Nikki said.

"We better go, it's almost time for assembly." I said. We all went our seperate ways. We made our way into the hall and sat on the front row.

"Welcome year 13s, as you know you've all been applying to university, most of you have finished everything so I just wanted to say that they have all officially been sent off, the university's have until March to reply but most university's reply earlier than that. To anyone who hasn't finished can they stay behind as career advisers are around to help, thank you."

We all got up.

"What are your first choices?"

"Sheffield for me." Abi said,

"Durham, what about you, Ammie?" Nikki asked me.

"UCL, although I don't know if I can meet the grade boundaries." (AN: Hahahaha I wish I could get into UCL in real life xD)

We then went to our lessons. After school ended we all went into our dorms and got changed out of our uniforms. There was then a knock on the door and Harry entered.

"Guys, since it's a Friday, we've all thought we should go out for a meal, probably Nando's, you guys in?"

"Heck yes, I am." I said. Abi, Nikki and Nish said yes but Amy didn't want to go.

"Okay, we leave in fifteen minutes." He said and then left.

"I'm so hungry."

"Nish, you're always hungry!" Amy replied.

"So? I'm allowed to be!"

We then left and went into the boys' dorm.

"We're waiting on-"

"Let me guess, Justin?" I asked.

"Actually no. For once it isn't him, it's Louis." Zayn said.

"Well that was going to be my second guess."

"Okay, I'm ready." Louis shouted as he came out of the room. I looked down at his feet and saw he was still wearing slippers.

"Louis, you're wear-" I started to say but Justin put his hand on my mouth.

"Let him figure it out himself ." Justin said.

"Fwyn."

"What was that?"

"Justin, remove your hand." Abi said.

"Oh, sorry."

"I said, fine."

"Let's go!"

We all walked out to the car until Louis finally clicked he was wearing slippers.

"Guys, why didn't anyone tell me I was wearing slippers?!" He moaned as he trailed back inside.

"We'll wait in the car!" I said. A few minutes later he came back out with trainers on, and he was out of breath.

"Why are you acting like you ran a marathon?" Lana asked.
