Optimus's Perspective
Why was Megatron at our base? Why did I run like a coward? Am I afraid of him? "Why am I so afraid all of a sudden?" I say, looking into my servos. I feel like my spark is collapsing and I don't know how to handle things. I look out into the ocean and tilt my helm back, to feel the breeze. I've groundbridged to areas far away from base but I've never drove this far. I was exhausted. I felt someone pull me back and I looked up to see Knockout's smiling face. He had his saw blade against my neck and I had no way to escape. I started shaking in fear and I then heard Megatron's voice. "Well Optimus, looks like you're trapped. Now explain this to me." He sits down on my pedes and slides his first 2 claws under my chin lifting my helm up. "Why is your faceplate red every time I look at you, and why did you run away from me?" I look away while my faceplate continuing to heat up.
Knockout lets go and I feel Megatron lift me into his arms. "There's something going on between us, Megatron. I'm not sure what it means but it definitely should be acknowledged." I say, pushing my helm into his chassis.
Megatron's Perspective
I feel Optimus push against my chassis and I look down to see that Optimus has calmed down. I smile and a GroundBridge appears next to us. I walk through and I see the Vehicons along with the other cons standing there looking at me. "My liege, may I point out that you're bridal style carrying Optimus?" Knockout points out about to laugh. He points that out now? I stare at him and he freaks out. The others go back to work and I walk over to my office. I sit down and rest Optimus on my lap. What did I get myself into? I hear a loud crash and see Optimus push himself against me and start shaking. I've never seen him so scared in my life.... "Megs, I'm scared...." He whines. He reminded me of Orion, He would always jump into my arms when a loud noise accured. His spark was collapsing, I could tell.... He was going back to his old self. At least We'll get to start over
Just FYI I got the title from a line in a Starset song.
The song is called "Bringing it Down", the line is (and now the lie's collapsing)
