"Good morning." Monroe greets opening up the door after Isabelle, Nick, and Hank walk up the steps and knock on the door. "Well, not that good if somebody died, I guess. But, um, yeah. Come on in."

"Thanks for helping us out." Hank replies.

"Not a problem. I like to help the.. the police whenever I can." Monroe assures him.

"Perfect." Isabelle grins and pulls out the baggy with the watch from her pocket. "Mr Monroe, this is the watch I talked to you on the phone about."

"Vintage Lusina. Very nice." Monroe comments looking it over. "I'm gonna have to get in there and check a few details. You mind if I.."

"Forensics cleared it. Go ahead." Nick confirms and Monroe pulls the watch out of the bag as he walks to his desk and puts on a pair of glasses.

"Valjoux movement — 72c to be exact. Triple calendar. Wow, just pure beauty." Monroe breathes. "Here, check it out. Triple complications — that's day, date, month to the layman. Probably made in the thirties."

"What about the engraving we found on the back?" Isabelle inquires.

"Professional. Could have been done by any engraver anytime, anywhere." Monroe shrugs as he takes off the back of the watch and dumps out the battery. "Oh, this is tragic."

"What's wrong?" Isabelle questions.

"Some jerk put glue in the movement." Monroe responds. "This watch is destroyed. I want to weep."

"Why would somebody do that?" Hank asks.

"To stop it from working." Monroe answers.

"Maybe they wanted to stop it on a specific time and date." Nick muses.

"Glue would certainly guarantee that." Monroe remarks and turns the watch over. "Ten fifteen, March eleventh."

"Is there a way to find who owns this watch?" Isabelle inquires.

"Original movement number, maybe. Or a service mark. I'll make some calls. Whoever serviced this will definitely remember it." Monroe informs them.

"How long will that take?" Hank questions.

"A couple of minutes if they got the paperwork." Monroe states. "There's coffee in the kitchen, help yourselves. Guys, you know where it is."
