Chapter One

Albert's POV

Papunta kami sa bahay ng parents ni Eula. We're about to drop off our three daughters there, well except for Alex because she has her own house, kasi pupunta kami ni Eula sa Maldives for our anniversary, and Mama Gracia insisted na iwanan na muna namin doon yung mga bata.

"Are you sure po na iiwan niyo po kami? Ayaw niyo po ba talaga kami kasama?" My youngest, Julie said with her puppy eyes.

My wife giggled and faced our daughter who was sitting at the back. "Sweetheart, we've talked about this diba?"

I saw Julie pouted through the rear-view mirror.

"Umasa pa haha, nice try, sister!" Nagsimula na naman ang pang-aasar ni Sandy.

"At least I tried, Ate."

"Mommy oh! Inirapan ako." Unang nang-asar pero siya rin unang nagsumbong.

"Tama na yan, baka kung saan saan na mapunta yang asaran niyo," Saway ni Eula sa dalawa.

"Princess, wag na sad. Diba Mommy and I promised you na may mga pasalubong kayo?"

I saw Julie's face light up kaya napangiti ako. Napakasarap sa feeling na nakikita mo yung mga anak mo na nakangiti at masaya.

Maya-maya, natulog na yung dalawang nag-babangayan kanina at si Anna naman busy sa kanyang phone, at naka-earphones pa!

Sumulyap ako kay Eula, pero kaagad ko naman binawi kasi nakita niya ata.

"Focus on the road, Mr. Martinez. Baka mabangga pa tayo at hindi matuloy ang bakasyon natin!"

"Pasensya na po, Ma'am. Ang ganda niyo po kasi eh, di ko mapigilang tumingin." I said as I held her hand.

"Alam mo ikaw, mambobola ka talaga, ano?"

I looked at her. "Anong mambobola? Hindi kita binobola 'no? Promise, you're the most beautiful woman in my eyes."

"I can hear the two of you kahit naka-earphones ako!" Anna said.

"See, magmaneho ka na lang, Alberto!" She looked away at nakita kong nagbblush siya.

Napailing nalang ako and continued driving.

After minutes, they reached the house. As soon as they got inside the house, Eula's parents greeted and welcomed them.

"Ma, di na po kami papasok. Malalate na po kami at parating na po yung Grab." Eula said as she kissed her mom's cheeks.

"Are you sure na hindi na kayo magpapahatid sa airport?" Gracia, Eula's mom, asked and Eula nodded.

"Thanks for the offer, Ma." Eula smiled.

She turned to her daughters and bid their goodbyes. "Oh paano? Aalis na kami. Magpapakabait kayo dito ha?" And kissed each of her daughters. Albert did the same.

"Oh siya, mag-iingat kayo doon ha? And enjoy!!" Eula's mom said.

"Bye, Ma. Bye, Pa!" Eula said.

"Bye! Albert, 'tong anak ko ah. Mag-iingat kayo doon." Fermin, Eula's father, said.

"Opo, kayo rin po mag-ingat dito. Lalo na sa kakulitan ng tatlong yan,"

The girls protested and denied what Albert told their grandfather.

After hundreds of goodbyes, it was time for Albert and Eula to leave because the Grab just arrived.
