Chapter 18

Alexis' POV

We got back to the Grier's house and all just hung out in the living room. I sat next to Hayes' and he still hasn't let go of my hand, but I didn't mind. I liked when he held my hand, I felt safe. Like nobody could hurt me, it felt as if it was just me and him.

It was midnight now and we were all still messing around. Like we use too, but just not at magcon. I was happy about it too, I wished it stayed like this forever. Just a bunch of friends messing around all night long. Soon all of us were getting tired, so we all started walking upstairs. We said goodnight to each other. Hayes walked me too my door and right before he left i gave him a kiss on the cheek. I changed into some sweats and into a Hollister t-shirt. Then I snuggled into bed and fell asleep as I laid down.

NEXT DAY

Hayes' POV

I woke up around noon and checked my phone. I checked Twitter too see a lot of tweets about the same thing. Happy things .

@heenabainss " HAYES AND ALEXIS SLAY DEAL WITH IT."

@hayezzgrierr " THEN HELD HANDS THE WHOLE TIME."

I was glad everyone except that me and Alexis were back together. I put my phone on charge and got up. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. I went out into the hallway and it was still quite so I'm guessing everyone was still asleep. I decide to walk over into Alexis' room. I quietly opened the door and started walking towards her bed. She was sleeping so peacefully. But I wasn't gonna let that keep happening.

I wiggled her a little and whispered wake up but she wouldn't wake up . So I started jumping up and down on her bed and screamed WAKE UP LEXIS .

Her head shot and she looked mad so I ran out of her room.

Alexis POV
I woke up to Hayes jumping on my bed, but before I could do anything he bolted out of my room. I smiled and giggled to myself. I got up and took a shower and changed into

A black crop top
A plaid skirt
Combat boots
and straighten my hair and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my phone off of the charger and walked downstairs where mostly everyone was now. I went into the kitchen and Hayes' mom was making breakfast for all of us. I sat at the table next to Hayes. I smacked him in the face and smiled. "That's what you get idiot." I said to him

He grabbed his cheek and said' " OW." Which made me feel good that he was in pain. We all ate our breakfast and tried to figure out what we should do that day. A lot things were suggested nothing that caught my attention though. Then Matt shot out, " DIRT BIKE RIDING." and I thought maybe it would be fun. " I second that." I said to everyone and everyone agreed. We all went upstairs and changed into more appropriate things for the activity. Mainly Maddie & I since we were wearing skirts. I changed into

A black tank top
Black leggings
Black converses

I pulled my hair into a high ponytail and walked out as soon as Maddie did. We both walked down the stairs and everyone was piling into the cars. I went into the car Hayes was in and we held hands again. We got to the dirt bike riding places and went to get ready. We were in teams,

Team Red : Alexis Maddie Cameron Matt Shawn Jack G
Team Blue: Hayes Nash Jack J Carter Taylor Aaron

We changed into the uniform things and we were all wearing certain colors we went into a class where they taught you all the rules. I felt like we were going to have a lot of fun and for sure my team was going to beat Hayes'
