It's.. Glowing?

Narrator POV

"So.. What now?"

The two shared a look. They didn't know what had just happened. This was bizarre, very unexpected to say the least.

"Uhm.." Tony said. He was very confused. His wrist was glowing! What the heck!

"It seems, we are destined to..be together?" T'Challa responded followed with a small head tilt. "I will ask father for help. Will you stay?"

Tony looked back up to him. "Oh uhh.. yeah sure. I'll stay here..with...this glowing thing. Yeah."

"Alright, I will be back in a second."

And just like that, T'Challa left to ask King T'Chaka of this strange event. Which meant that Tony was left alone.

Tony alone usually meant things blowing up. Sometimes suicidal thoughts. But that was in his teenage years. Now he just thought deeply. Maybe too deep.

Did I just suddenly turn radioactive? Did I do something wrong? Is this a sign that I should die soon? Will I die? Why is T'Challa's name on my wrist? What does it mean? Tony thought and thought. But there was never an answer to all those questions. He was left confused.

Soon, T'Challa came back. Hopefully with answers too. Close behind him, King T'Chaka followed.

"See father? He also has it." T'Challa showed the King Tony's wrist.

King T'Chaka examined it. Sure it was glowing, less than it was before, but still glowing.

"We shall ask back home. I have never seen this mark before." T'Chaka started to hurry back outside.

"Come. We shall have answers." T'Challa told Tony to follow him with a hand gesture. Tony complied.

Soon, all three of them were on a jet heading back to Wakanda. It was on autopilot with Jarvis flying.

It was silent. With Tony rubbing at his wrist, T'Challa silently thinking of some answers to himself, and his father tapping his foot on the floor every once in a while. Like an anxious tap.

"We have arrived." The British AI broke the silence.

"Cmon kids." T'Chaka stepped forward and out the door. T'Challa close behind.

"Come. We shall soon have answers." He made a hand gesture, telling Tony to come.

Tony follows T'Challa out the jet. They all headed toward the 'castle.'

T'Chaka looked around. Seeing if Shuri were anywhere near. Nope. That means she's in her lab.

They navigated through the big corridor, finally seeing the entrance to Shuri's lab. It was creaked open just a tad bit. They could see that she was working in something. Tapping away at the holograms similar to Tony's. There were some piles of what looked like research paper on her desk.

"Shuri, we have a problem, or a question others would say. But have something to ask you." The king said.

Shuri looked up from her work. "Yes father?"

"You know much about soulmates, correct?" He asked.

Shuri nodded. "Mhmm, what is the problem? Did T'Challa finally get one?" Curiosity was beaming in her eyes.

"Something like that. There is Tony Stark,"

"Hi." Tony waved.

"You are familiar with him, it seems like they both have each other's markings. But they are rather...peculiar. Have you seen this before?" T'Chaka said.

Shuri stepped closer to examine the markings. Sure they were soulmate markings, but usually, these don't glow. It was odd seeing such dull and (usually) black looking markings glow. She tried covering the glow with her hand. It kept glowing. It got a bit dimmer though. Does it respond to the brightness of the lights?

Shuri tested this by turning off the lights. It was a lot darker now. Though the markings still flowed a tad bit. There were similar marks on the ceiling now. It was in a very weird handwriting yet still legible. But it wasn't in English, nor any Earth languages at all. An unfamiliar handwriting usually indicates that it is from a whole nother world.

Maybe blood samples? Does the glow have something to do with the blood? She went to turn the lights back on and started searching frantically for a needle and blood containers.

Meanwhile the others watched closely to what she was doing.

"What now? You've already tested the lighting." Tony said.

"Blood samples. May I take one? I want to see if there had been something mixed in with the blood that causes this glow." Shuri said while still continuing to search for her materials.

"Sure. But how would something get into the blood if we weren't injected with anything? No foods would be or seem to be radiant either." Tony responded.

"True, but maybe the skin then. But we will still try the blood, just in case." Shuri finally found a needle inside her cabinets. She walked to Tony preparing him for the pointy, metal stick.

Not too sharp. It's fine, it's fine, you are fine. Tony repeated in his head. He wasn't too good with needles, nor was Bruce, but this was for science. (Almost) Anything for science!

Quickly enough, it was done. The sample has been taken. Straight from the glowing area.

T'Challa moved closer to see if there was anything wrong with the blood. Doesn't seem like it, to him at least.

"I don't think it was the blood.." Shuri said as she looked at the sample. It looked like fine, healthy blood.

"I don't know. This is not my area of 'science' more like Bruce's. Maybe you'd should ask him. He might know." Tony advised.

"I might, maybe when I can come to visit." Shuri said while still looking at the blood sample, just closer.

"If that's all I'm here for, I'm going to start my leave." Tony said.

"Would you like to stay? Maybe for dinner? It is almost dark." T'Challa suggested.

"Oh uhh.." Tony look toward the king for permission. He nodded his head approvingly.

"Sure I guess. But I might not stay long, I have some work to do." Tony then said.

T'Challa's poker face suddenly turned into a victory one with a small smile showing. Like how a small child had just gotten a new friend.

"Alright. Would you like to go 'hangout' as you Americans would call it?" T'Challa suggested.

"I'm not even full American, but sure. We could go 'hangout' as you just said." Tony then soon leaves with T'Challa. Leaving Shuri to keep looking at her blood sample.

What if mine looks different? I should test it! She thought and went to go get another tube to put her blood in. Then she just closely and carefully compared the two blood samples. Almost identical, yet so different at the same time! So fascinating!

That left her wondering, does that mean we all have a bit of each other's blood? Meaning we are all somehow related?

Does anyone even read these? lol
