Jai's P.O.V

Another boring school day. Argh. I hate school. Ever since Ari changed place, school seemed to be much.. Um.. Boringer if that's even a word. I know what u may be thinking. Isn't just one subject?? Well no. Apparently, all teachers had the same brains. I'm now far away from the rest. "BYE GUYS!" Olivia shouted from the house while we, Beau, me and Luke, were walking out. I just love Olivia. Every time my bros and I have a problem, Olivia always tries to make things better like how she got Maddy and Luke together or the one when me and my brothers fight for the last piece of cheese.

I stepped into the noisy classroom. Luke went straight away to his seat. Beau went to a different classroom with Alex. I scanned around the room to look for Ari but she wasn't here. I could see her bag on her seat next to Greyson's. I ran to Maddy and I asked her where Ari was and she told me that Ari was at the playground with Greyson. I stomped off to look for her.

Ariana's P.O.V

"Do you like Jai?" Greyson asked. I shrugged. I seriously don't know. Sometimes I do but sometimes I think he is kind of annoying. Nowadays, he doesn't call me or text me anymore. He just looks at me and walks away. I just continued swinging on the swing. Greyson was on the swing next to mine. I just like swinging. Silence overthrew the area. But somehow, I feel the presence of another person and I knew who it is. "JAI! COME OUT FROM THE PILLAR! I KNOW YOU'RE THERE!" I shouted. Like I'm always right, he was behind the pillar. He looked sad too. "Why are you sad?" I asked running towards him. "Uhh.. Nothing.. Nothing!" He said. Then he faked a smile. The smile hurt me because I know he was upset. Greyson ran towards us and stopped beside me. He held my hand. Jai just stared at our hands. "Can I ask you a question?" Jai broke the silence. I nodded. "What's the relationship between you and Greyson?" He comtinued. I froze. I didn't want to tell him the truth. Greyson nudged me. "I.. Uh.. Well, me and Greyson were together for the past four years but two years of it, he moved to another state to do some record deal he got offered. And during that two years was when I met you," I explained. He looked sad. He quickly nodded and ran to class. Me and Greyson just walked back to class together.

Jai's P.O.V

Ms Gomez came in right when I sat down. So I had to stand up again. "Class. Another student is coming in today! Come on in!" Ms Gomez said. My heart pounded faster when I saw the new girl. I knew her instantly. "Class. Meet Another Ariana. Her name is Ariana Grande!" She continued. "But you can call me Cat!" Ariana Grande said. "Yes. Okay. Um.. Ariana, you can sit next to Jai. He'll be your partner for the year!" She said. Okay. Now I totally LOVE SCHOOL! Ariana is and always will be my BESTBESTBESTBESTBEST FRIEND EVER! I met her at a hotel when I was a little kid. She came up to me and gave a sticker. "Here! A golden sticker for smiling at me!" She said when she was younger. Sadly, when I was 15, she had to move to L.A. To star in a show called Victorious. I watched all of the episodes and absolutely love each and every one of them. "Hey Jai!" Ariana said. I smiled as she put down her bag and sat down. "I missed you! Why did you move back?" I asked her. "What? You don't like me moving back?" She joked and acted sad. I laughed. "I missed you! So I'd thought I'd move back to be with me BESTBESTBESTBESTBEST FRIEND!" She replied and hugged me. "Ok Jai. I know you like your new buddy but please. Back to class!" Ms Gomez interrupted our 'talk'. I flipped through my textbook and listened to Ms Gomez but wasn't really paying much attention to her. Ariana rested her head on my shoulder. I just smiled. It's going to be a great year
