Queen POV:

The carnival was going great so far. I left the baby with Grandma and maids and came down to meet the people. Kids were playing and chasing across the garden.

Women were chatting and laughing everyone was enjoying they started to bow before me as I came among them and little girls brought me flowers, I hugged them and they went to their friend exaggerating that they were hugged by me.
Silly girls I thought.

I went to other corner where different talented people were showing their skills.
There was a women dancer doing belly dance she had a very flexible body her every step seemed like she's dancing in air.

Then there was a magician crowded by children he was showing to change his hankerchief into pigeon and children applauded.

Then there was a mime his face was painted all white having some black and red makeup on it, he held weird expression. He acted like there is a glass and he's trying to climb it. He was for sure perfect in his field.

The talent corner was filled by various people having different talents to entertain people. People of Atlantiona have never experienced so much fun, adventure and colours in their lives. This was the biggest carnival in the history of the country and the plus point; it was held at palace.

A cold wind passed across me. The sky was clear but the wind was harsh and cold. There was another gush of wind more harsher then before. It felt strange I dint know why but the wind seemed unsatisfactory today.

As I was lost in thoughts I saw some guards searching here and there. The men who were at duty with princess were roaming in the garden and asking something from the guards at entrance. They held a worried and terrified look. Something was definitely wrong.

As I tried to approach to them I was stopped by a strange sound.

'You pay for what you do' I heard someone saying it. But it seemed like I was the only one to hear it because when I turned around there was no one and everyone seemed busy in enjoying.

My stress level rise when I saw Luther ordering guards something he was terrified and nervous. There was something definitely wrong.

I hurried myself towards him.
"What is it?", I inquired.

"Don't worry everything will be fine", he said in assuring tone.

"But what is it about ?", I asked desperately.

"It's...uummm...the...baby-",he was nervous as hell.
I cut him off. If he said baby then there was something wrong something fishy. He called my name but I didn't looked back because what mattered to me was to go and see my baby safe and sound.

I ran towards the room where the maids took her after I went into garden, the room was highly secured by guards inside and out.
When I reached the floor, the air held distress. Everyone was standing sad and worried having tearful eyes.

Cadbury was inquiring and scolding maids assigned for princess Katherine.
I rushed towards her room and opened the door. I ran towards the cradle.

It was empty.
Where's my baby? Why everyone is so worried? She might be with her Grand mother?

Luther came, he seemed broken and depressed I couldn't hold on more I went to him and looked into his eyes to know my answers. My heart was beating rapidly I had a sick feeling in stomach.

"Where's my baby?" I asked in low tone.

"She...she's...kidnapped"

"What do you mean? How is it possible?", my heart stopped beating. I knew Luther was kidding me.

"She was surrounded with guards inside the room and outside and none of them fit once took their eyes off ther still they dint know how it happened. They had check all the palace even they searched among people at carnival. There's no sign of her.", he told having a lone tear falling down on his cheek.

"Please say that you're joking", I couldn't breath now.

"I will do every possible thing to bring my baby back. I promise."

All the king's men search every bit of the country, from the dark forests to the unreachable mountains, from the deserted place to the abandoned buildings she was nowhere. Some close friends of king suggested that he should check the outskirts too, and some said that maybe someone killed her which always infuriated king.

Till five years the searching continued, king had a large number of army they searched every bit of the country. The borders were closed and no one was able to leave the country.

Grand queen thought herself responsible for it because she left her side and trusted the maids. Her condition worsened day by day. She stopped talking and the only words she spoke were "it's all my fault".

She thought herself more responsible because she knew if the circumstances she knew that the baby wasn't a normal one she knew something bad would happen.

No one else knew the secret expect her and know keeping this secret was getting hard for her she couldn't bare the burden of it. She knew her time is close and she wanted to convey this secret to her son before she dies.

Queen was also not in her good state. She stopped playing piano and rarely visited garden. She often got sick and depressed and spend her most of the time in bed. She ordered to lock the princess room and no one was allowed to go there not even got cleaning.

She knew her daughter is not with her but she also had satisfaction that she's alive. She used to tell king that mothers have a heart and soul connection with their children and she could tell that her baby is alive she could feel her heart beat.

What do you think where the princess? Is she alive or dead?

Don't forget to show some love.
