That, or she's finally gone completely mad.

The next morning, Trixie woke up in Katya's arms. She smiled, enjoying her warmth for just a little longer. After a few minutes of staring at Katya's adorable sleeping face, Trixie sighed. She knew they both had work to get to.
After their kiss yesterday, neither of the girls spoke about it, mostly because they didn't know what it meant.
Trixie lightly tapped Katya's nose until her big blue eyes fluttered open.
"Mornin' sleepy head" Trixie whispered.
Katya smiled once she saw Trixie's face. She loved seeing her in such a pure and vulnerable state. Bed hair, no makeup and slightly dazed eyes looked so good on her.
"Good morning Кукла" she said, her voice still raspy from sleeping.
"We should probably get ready for work." Trixie said as she saw that Katya had no intention of leaving the bed.
Katya kissed Trixie's forehead, tightening her grip around her waist.
"I don't wanna" she pouted.
Trixie laughed at her childish whining.
'This woman will be the death of me." She thought.
"Don't make me fire you miss Замолодчикова." Trixie said, smirking. Katya gasped and pulled away, giving Trixie a fake hurt look.
"How dare you?" She asked dramatically.
Trixie just laughed and threw a pillow at her.
"Go get changed."

The diner was busy as usual. Katya had to spend five whole minutes explaining to an old man that extra pancakes cost extra money.
She was cleaning a table when Bob came up to her.
"Hey Katya, do you know what day it is tomorrow?" She asked.
Katya gave her a questioning look, titling her head sideways.
"Sunday?" She said.
Bob sighed.
"Of course she didn't tell you, she probably doesn't even remember herself." Bob said, shaking her head disapprovingly.
"Anyway tomorrow is Trixie's birthday, Kim and I wanted to throw her a little party at my house, you're coming, right?" She asked, leaning on the counter.
"Sure, i'd love to." Katya smiled brightly, thinking about how it would be like to see Trixie with her friends.
"Great! Don't tell her though, she thinks she's coming to dogsit for me." She giggled at her own excuse, then went back to taking people's orders.
Katya chuckled, there was a lot to look forward to, apparently.

~The next day~

Katya was extremely excited about Trixie's birthday. She had to act as if everything was normal though, in order to not ruin the surprise. She had to stop herself countless times in the morning, it was hard not to at least wish Trixie a happy birthday. But she reminded herself it'll all be worth it.
Katya kept Trixie busy all day, knowing that she'd have less of a chance at finding out about the party if she was occupied with work.

Trixie and Katya were now right outside of bob's house. Katya gave Trixie the excuse of "I really really really love dogs and I heard that Bob has a husky!" When Trixie asked her why she would want to come and dogsit with her. Trixie glanced over at Katya as she took out Bob's spare key from her purse.
"What're you smiling about?" Trixie raised a brow at Katya's huge grin, that's pretty much been there all day.
Katya shrugged.
"Do I need a reason to smile when i'm with you?" She replied nonchalantly. Trixie nearly choked on air, she wasn't expecting such an effortlessly flirty answer.
"Fair enough." she said, fiddling with the keys.

Trixie opened the door. The room was pitch black. The second she turned on the lights, everyone yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRIXIE!" At the very top of their lungs. Trixie jumped in shock, stared at the girls for a few seconds, then began to laugh hysterically. Thank god Kim filmed her reaction, because it was priceless.
Right now, only Trixie's closest friends were in the room. Kim, Bob, Shea, Courtney, Bianca, Adore and of course Katya. It was Katya's first time meeting most of them. Based on first impressions, they all seemed lovely.
"So Katya, how did you and Trixie get to meet?" Adore asked, sipping on her drink. Katya's throat went dry. She couldn't tell them the truth yet, could she? 'Oh yeah I was homeless before Trixie found me sleeping on a bench' sounded messed up in more than one way. Before Katya could answer, Trixie spoke.
"She came to the diner in the middle of the night and asked for coffee, I couldn't help but get intrigued." She laughed. Katya Internally thanked her for telling only half the truth. They'll find out the rest later, she wanted Trixie to enjoy her party. The girls laughed as well, thank god.
They continued chatting, the topics getting weirder and weirder the more they drank. Katya learned that Bianca was actually a sweetheart, Adore and Kim were absolutely insane and that Trixie's cheeks turn adorably red when she drinks. About half an hour later, more people began to arrive. Apparently, Bob planned a much bigger party than just close friends.
As the house got more and more crowded, Katya started to feel a bit uncomfortable. She sat on the couch and watched Trixie, Bob, Adore and a bunch of other people play a drinking game. It was amusing at first, but after a while it can get boring to watch others drink, especially when you're the only one sober.
Katya decided to step outside for some fresh air.
