[A little cold - Neko series]
You dabbed the cold damp cloth onto your Neko Niall's forehead. He had just recently caught a cold. You suspect it was from one of the other Neko's he had played with when you had taken him down to the park days earlier. You weren't entirely sure though.
His arms were tightly wrapped around you as his face rested on your shoulder. You tightened the thin blanket around him and glanced up at the ceiling fan.
One of your hands began to rub his ear as he lightly panted beside you. He was struggling. He was always weak and limp when it came to him and sickness. He couldn't fight it. It always consumed him and you would have to take care of him.
"Mu..." Niall breathed weakly as you looked down at him. His face lightly scrunched up as he groaned uncomfortably.
"What is it baby?" You asked as he blinked up at you. Sweat freely slid down the side of his face but you were quick to wipe it away with the damp cloth.
Niall pushed away his blanket and you helped him. He inhaled the cool air and you could see his skin sweating as well. Blinking back, you shook your head and wiped over his torso as his back arched.
His hands came up and slowly gripped your shoulders as your gaze flickered to his face. It was flushed red. Clear skin with running sweat and soft eyes. He was so vulnerable.
You pulled him close and felt his face rest softly onto your neck. "I'll take care of you Niall." His arms wrapped around your neck as he bit into your skin from being uncomfortable. "I promise."
