Chucking the ripped pages away in the bin, you wiped your face before leaving the room. You had saved up for that book for ages and now it's as good as gone.
Deciding not to interrogate your bullies, you went to the library. They barely go in there so that place should keep you safe for a while.
A couple of people deliberately bumped their shoulders harshly against yours letting you wince every time. Pushing past to the library, you finally scrambled inside and sat down in the readying corner. You picked up a random book somebody left and just began reading. You needed to take your mind off of reality right now.

It had been nearly the entire lunch you sat reading a book you could care less about. But unfortunately, all good things come to an end.
"(Y/N)." You looked up to see Niall leaning on a book shelf looking down at you. Your face dropped and you stood up putting the book down. "You reading?" He asked as you ignored him and walked past. "Hey!"
He grabbed your wrist and you turned snatching your hand back.
"Why are you acting so cold? I just want to talk."
"The same talk from somebody else had that had me beaten up behind the canteen last week?!" His eyes widened as you looked away clutching your bag straps.
"You got beaten up last week?"
'Don't act like you care! I'm done with people tricking me to hurt me!" His eyes softened as he gently touched your arm.
"(Y/N)..."
"Don't. Just don't..." you whispered walking out of the library.
