The bell rung again. Finally, it was lunch. I grabbed all my stuff and was about to look for Jayden when I felt someone grip onto my shoulder. I turned to see who it was and it was Jess. "Hey, you didn't meet me at my locker today and now you're ditching me?" She sounded hurt. "No, no, no way! I'm so sorry, Jess. It's just that this morning was... complicated. It involved your brother and mine. I think Jayden's mad at us, soo... I'm finding him now..." I kind of explained. Jess gave me the 'oh' look. "yea..." I nodded slowly.
"You could've told me! C'mon tell me everything while we look for him," she grabbed my hand and we sped down the hallway. I talked really really fast and surprisingly she caught every word. Damn, that girl has some good ears! I was 3/4 through the story and I suddenly whispered/screamed to her, "there he is!" I pointed to Jayden sitting alone with his hood up. He seemed pretty upset. "Go and talk! Finish the story later okay?" She pushed me toward him. I nodded and jogged to Jayden.
