Kairi's POV

I hear a blaring noise coming from my nightstand, making my head hurt. Don't we love Mondays.
"Fucking hell," I slam my hand on the alarm clock, searching for the button to shut it the hell up... finally quiet.
"Kairiiii!" Myah comes screaming, slamming my door open.
"Wake up, Kai!" Meet my second alarm clock. I open my eyes slowly and see her coming towards me. When she's close enough I grab her head and try to do the same thing I did to my alarm clock.
"Ah! Kai, let me Go!" My sister pulls away from my grip as I sit up. I glared at her and she sticks her tongue out at me. Children
I get ready in about half an hour. I take a picture of myself in my long mirror. I'm wearing my favorite orange hoodie with Adidas joggers and Vans. I send it to my best friend, Mattia. Got to get the bros opinion.

I wait for him to reply. He should be up by now, school starts in 20 mins, well unless he's skipping again. I chew on my nail as I pick up my backpack and go downstairs. Can he reply already? Wait, what if he thinks I look ugly? I mean I'm a 100% straight man but I always want to be pretty for him. What I mean is that if anyone else called me that I'd probably be mad as fuck. But I feel fuzzy when he does... tHaT's gAy! I shouldn't be thinking that way. Ayee, that rhymed. I sit at the dining table and eat the cereal my mom put in bowls for me and my sister.
"Morning, Ma" I say
"Morning, baby"
"Did you sle-" ting! My phone's notification sound cuts me off. Mattia. I reach in my pocket to get my phone, happy to see there's a message. When I click on it, it takes me to Mattia's and my messages.

I smile down at my phone, slightly blushing. God damn Mattia, why do you always do this to me?
"Who are you talking to? New girlfriend?" My sister asks causing my smile to fade away. I shake my head and continue eating my Reese puff cereal...
I wish he was. But that's the thing- he's not only just my friend, he's also a he. Mattia's a whole man with a whole penis and a big one at that. How are you not supposed to like him. I might even be in love with him but no homo.
