I woke up with the biggest smile on my face. I’m engaged! I thought to myself. I never thought that this day would come, let alone falling in love with someone. I look over to the other side of the bed and look at Tom. He is lying on his front, with his arms and legs spread out over the bed. He was still asleep and was snoring softly. He looked really cute. I got out of the bed and chucked on a pair of jogging bottoms and a baggy t-shirt and pulled a brush through the knots in my hair. I walked back over to the bed and sat down beside Tom. I lowered myself so my mouth was near his ear and whispered,
“Tom, babe it’s time to get up”
“5 more minutes” He groaned.
“Fine then” I stood up on the bed, and jumped down on top of him.
“What the hell?” He shouted, jerking awake.
“You were the one that wouldn’t wake up” I said, with a cheeky grin plastered on my face.
“Whatever. Come here, I want a cuddle with the future Mrs Parker” He pulled me down next to him. I layed my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around me. He started to play with my hair.
“What are you thinking about” I asked him.
“Just what the future will be like, that’s all”
“Yeah? And what do you see?”
“Well” He started. “I see us, married and living in a huge house. And then we have 3 kids, 2 boys and 1 girl, so the boys can protect the girl when she gets older”
“Awww” I looked up at him. “I really do love you, so so much”
“And I love you too, never, ever doubt that” I pulled my head up to his and kissed him softly on the lips.
Laying back down, I started to replay everything that had happened to me. I'm not going to lie, there have been ups and downs but I would never change anything that had happened, just because right in this moment, lying next to Tom Parker, my fiancé (Can't get over that!) my life seemed pretty much perfect.
