"Maybe I'll say yes if you tell me the god damn reason, Minho." Chan sneered, brushing his blond locks back before continuing, "or do you perhaps have a crush on my new roommate?"
"I swear I don't even know who your roommate is!" Minho pleaded, "Please, just switch rooms with me Chan. I can't take this anymore, you're the only one I can count on."
The two were chilling in the cafeteria after the end of orientation, which Chan deliberately skipped. It was the start of a new academic year in S.K.Z college. Chan rested his legs on the rectangular table and Minho sat right next to him, both boys sipping on cans of iced coffee.
"Why is it so hard to tell me the reason?"
"Why is it so hard to get you to agree?"
"Stop changing the subject, Minho. Tell me and I'll say okay." Chan said, removing his legs from the table, "Why do you dislike your roommate so much, anyway?"
Minho thought for a moment. "It's not that I dislike him," He sighed, "He's a freshman and I just absolutely cannot stand him. Please, chan."
"Elaborate."
Minho groaned at Chan's persistence. "He's loud as fuck, man. He won't stop talking to me, and not just that, his Korean is shit so he speaks English and I don't understand a damn thing! And his English sounds like yours."
"And why is that bad? You can teach him some Korean. It's your only chance to make some friends, Minho."
"No way. I spent four fucking hours reading the same page of my book because he won't stop distracting me," Minho dramatically threw his hands in the air, "You get how serious that is? I can't live with him."
Chan sighed and glanced at Minho without replying.
"Chan listen, he's kinda cute, so you get to make a cute friend yeah? At least it's not Changb-"
"Don't fucking mention his name Minho." Chan snarled, causing Minho to hold a hand over his mouth.
"Fine, I'll switch with you."
