27. The Truth Of It All

The Arsenal Gundam carries both the Ultimatum and the Pinsir Gundams on board the Cloud 9. The Arsenal mounts the Ultimatum on the repair mound, lays the Pinsir down on the floor, places a foot on it pulls out a sidearm and aims it at the Pinsir's cockpit. Ares pries the top hatch open, climbs out and holds on so that he doesn't fly off from the zero gravity.

"Ares!!" Tenna yells from the lower entrance.

Rika, Tyriel, Lok, Donte, Able and Cameron follow close behind of Tenna. Ares launches himself down his Gundam and finds his footing at the Ultimatum's feet. He quickly gestures with his hands for everyone to stop and not get to close. Everyone simultaneously stops and examines Ares.

"Are you alright?!" Tenna

"What's with all that blood?!" Rikka

"Easy! Easy! Its not my blood. Well aside from my head but that's a minor issue." Ares

"Ugh! That smell! That's you?!" Donte asks as everyone near picks up the smell.

"Yeah.... It was a tactic that worked back in the day. I also brought a present for you guys inside." Ares

"I honestly don't wanna know." Able

Just then, a large amount of personnel with guns quickly surround the Pinsir Gundam and has all of their rifles aimed at the cockpit. The hatch to the Pinsir's cockpit opens and Penta carefully climbs out with her hands up.

"It's a good thing we got to you first before the Cerberus had the chance to even look or you would be in her shoes right now." Lok

"Ain't that the truth... Now if you don't mind, I'd like to go take a bath.... I'd clean my partner but I've been through quite a lot." Ares

"That's an understatement." Tyriel

Ares pushes off of the Ultimatum and slowly floats over the group toward the entrace door.

"Can I shoot?" Miyuki

"No you're not going to kill her." Rikka

"...... what if my finger slipped?" Miyuki

"Boy." Tyriel

"Just asking." Miyuki

"Tyriel, you mind taking over? I honestly don't know if I'm going to keep my cool around her." Tenna

"Yeah. I'll handle it." Tyriel

"Thanks.... I'm gonna go and help Ares if anyone's looking for me." Tenna says then floats towards the exit.

"... Was she being serious or was that just an excuse?" Lok

"Yes." Rikka

Lok thinks for a second, opens his mouth but quickly closes it back and shakes his head. Tenna makes her way through the hall and when she turns the corner to see Ares's leaning with his head against his bedroom door.

"Ares?!" Tenna says as she rushes towards him.

Ares slowly looks up to see Tenna arrive infront of him with an expression full of worry. She quickly notices the blood stain on the bandages where his head wound is and becomes even more worried.

"Before you go all over reactive worried on me, it literally just happened and I already lost a lot of blood when I crash landed." Ares

"That's not going to make me worry less idiot!" Tenna

"Tone it down a little would ya?" Ares

Tenna takes a deep breathe and shakes her head.

"Come on. Let's get you cleaned up." Tenna says as she opens his door. The both head in and Tenna closes the door behind of her.
