"I am not coming with you." Pagmamatigas ko. Tinaasan ko pa siya ng kilay para malaman niyang hindi ako natatakot sa kanya. Hindi ko pinansin 'yong puso kong kanina pa ang lakas ng kabog.

"Yeah?" He mouths and before I could say anything else, history just repeats itself. Five kisses me without a warning. Maybe, he warned me and I just did not listen. For a brief moment, I realize that he still has the same effect on me. He is still my weakness. But something...still has changed.

"How dare you?" I snap after giving him a slap on his face. I'd like to be sorry for doing it to his perfect face but then I realize he's an asshole and he surely deserves it. "That's for your fiancee. Stop hurting women's feelings, Palmer."

Bumalik ako kaagad sa kwarto ni Seb habang may pagkakataon akong takasan si Five. Ang lungkot-lungkot ng puso ko. Ang sikip non. I just want to cry. Kaya naman talaga ako napahagulhol habang kayakap si Seb kanina ay dahil kay Five. Akala ko kasi, hindi na niya ako ulit madudurog. Nakakatawa. Hindi naman pala kasi ako muling nabuo matapos niyang wasakin ako.

"What the hell is that asshole doing here?"

"Basteee." Sambit ko nalang saka siya niyakap.

"Fxck Siri. Are you crying again?"

"No." I lie and tighten my grip around him.

"Ow! Ow! Siri, can you move a bit? Aw! Ang sakit ng sugat ko! Dinadaganan mo naman e!" Bumitaw kaagad ako mula sa pagkakayakap sa kanya. Nataranta pa ako. "See? Umiiyak ka. Tsk."

"Bwesit ka talaga Seb!" Naiinis na asik ko sabay palo ng dibdib niya. At 'yon, totoong natamaan na ang sugat niya. "Ikaw kasi, nakakainis ka!"

"Serenity, 'wag mong sabihing mahal mo parin?" Saglit na huminto sa pagtibok 'yong puso ko sa sinabi ni Seb. Tsk. No way.

"Ano'ng akala mo sa'kin? Tanga? Hindi 'to telenobela Seb na kahit ilang taon na ang lumipas, tanga parin 'yong bida. Hindi." Depensa kong nginisian lang ng kumag. "What? You don't believe me?"

"Dry off your tears, Siri." He says, dodging my stare. He looks at the ceiling instead. "You don't have to lie to me. I am your bestfriend." Napasimangot ako sa sinabi niya. Naiiyak na naman ako. I feel guilty because when it comes to him, I just always lie. "Whatever is it that you'll say, I am your bestfriend, Siri, I will still bully you."

"P*ste ka talaga Sebastian!"

Somehow, hearing his authentic laugh calms me down and I forget for a moment that I've just talked to the man who was once my world after three years of not seeing each other. This is the good part of having a bestfriend. Kahit na annoying, maaasahan mo naman.

"Do me a favor, Siri." Tiningnan ko siya ng masama. Alam ko 'tong tingin niyang 'to e. "Just enjoy your stay here. Have a vacation. Go to beaches—"

"What the hell? Did you just tell me to leave?" Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. I also cross my arms to tell him how displeased I am for his statement.

"Baby, just give this to me."

"Give you what? Hoy Sebastian, I went all the way from Manila to this place for you tapos ipagtatabuyan mo 'ko?" I dramatically exclaim.

"I just don't want you to waste your time looking after me when a nurse can do that in your behalf—"

Now, I just cannot stop arching my brow. I'm getting what he meant by making me leave him to the nurses. This jerk! Ipagpapalit na niya ang bestfriend niya sa nurse!?

"I'm not leaving." I tell him with an annoying grin. Seb rolls his eyes at me in dismay. Haha. Cute Basteeee. "Well, not unless I meet the nurse."

"Wow Siri. I didn't think you have a brain." Pang-iinsulto ng kumag. Pabirong sinakal ko nga ang mokong pero tumawa lang siya. "Don't get so close to me. She'll be here in a minute. Baka magselos 'yon, mabad-shot pa ako."
