As the party rages on, Ruby can be seen by the punch bowl with Jet, both not awkwardly waiting for something to happen. Then, Jaune approaches the two, the same look on his face as well.
Jaune: I see you're hiding at the punch bowl too.
Ruby: Yep. (An audible *pop* can be heard as she emphasizes the "p".)
Jet: Pretty much. (shrugs)
Jaune: To the socially awkward.
They all giggled and clinked their glasses together. As they talked with one another, the bad time trio could be seen with Cinder nodding her head before leaving the party. This got Jet on high alert, knowing what would happen next. Ruby seemed to notice it too, so she decided to go see what's going on.
Ruby: Jet, would you mind coming with me for a bit? I think I left my Scroll back in our room.
Jet: (smiles) Not at all, Ruby.
As the two left, Jaune wondered why they were acting so strange. Far away, they breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that nobody followed them. With nobody around, Jet brought out the Build Driver while Ruby called in on her locker, containing her beloved Crimson Rose. As the two prepared to head off, rustling could be heard from behind them. In silence, Jet motioned Ruby to go while he took care of whoever it is. Ruby nodded and headed off, leaving Jet with his Build Driver on.
Pulling out two Fullbottles, Jet readied himself for his assailant.

Inserting them into his Driver, he cranked the lever as the rustling got closer and closer. Then, he transformed just before his assailant could pounce on him.
Driver: RABBIT! DRAGON! ARE YOU READY?
Jet: Henshin!
Driver: (Funky music) BEST MATCH!
