I awoke in my room, a massive headache on me. As I stretched out from what seemed a long sleep I heard my back crack. I moaned as I got up from my bed and walked over to the kitchen.
“Good morning” I heard my little three year old brother chirp as I walked over to the fridge. I looked at him and smiled.
“Good morning Danny” I picked him up, hugging him tightly. His name was actually Daniel but I called him Danny. I started tickling him after a while. I loved how he laughed, his laugh just made me feel better in so many ways. I put him down and opened the fridge and took out some milk in a green bowl. I sighed as I sat down. Danny just smiled, I took out some cereal and shared with him some. I jumped as my phone vibrated in the sweats I was wearing.
‘From Matthew’ it said. I clicked open as quickly as I could. My heart beat fast as I waited for it to open. ‘Karen turn to channel 7 and look what is on the news right now!’ I raised my eyebrow and gasped
‘What!?’ I replied, I put my phone down, I turned on the TV to channel ‘7’. I widened my eyes as One Direction was on the news. I got the control and raised up the volume on high
“It seems that our little Nialler has been talking with a girl lately” the news reporter said. I widened my eyes as I waited for more. It switched to One Direction in ‘Good Morning America’
“So Niall I heard on twitter that you have been talking with a special someone? Are you guys going to make it official? Everyone on twitter is dying to know if this is true” the lady asks seriously as she turns to see Niall. Niall just started laughing, blushing as well.
“Well she is just a best friend, but if you guys want us together I guess” he chuckled
“What!” I screamed. Danny just ignored me and looked at the TV
“Woe guys! Can we know any more details?” the man next to the lady said. I gasped, I hated how some news reporters are so straight forward and nosey, but it is interesting and juicy. Niall just nodded.
“Her name is Karen, they have been seeing each other for a while, flirting” Louis said. I turned red.
“No we haven’t! We are only good friends” I yelled out as if they could hear me
“She is really beautiful” Harry Styles said smirking at Niall, Niall just turned. The lady looked at them speechless.
“No but they are only friends for right now” Liam said looking straight at Niall, he just nodded.
“Are you guys ever going to go the next step?” The news reporter said. I just nodded. Wow until a year later people find out me and Niall are friends. I just chuckled, but hey I was happy people didn’t know about us, I didn’t want any fans in front of my door step
“Well I don’t really know” Niall smiled.
“Well that’s all we could tell right now” The news lady said. “Boys any comments?”
“Just one” almost all the boys said. I gulped, nervously. ‘Please guys don’t do what I think you will do’ I thought as I bit my lip.
“For all the fans out there thank you guys we love you!” Louis yelled out, I sighed of relief. I jumped when my phone started ringing, it was Harry.
“Hell-o?” I croaked out.
“Hello? Karen did you watch it?” Matthew's voice chirped.
“Yes, how did people know me and Niall are……...” I faded away as I saw a familiar figure in front of me.
“Hello?” Matthew’s voice burly could be heard as the phone slipped of my hands.
“Good morning”
