"So you gonna show up this weekend?" Wayne asked him in reference to the BBQ he was hosting. It was mid July and he felt it had been a while since everyone had come together, so what better way than a BBQ.
"I don't know man," Drake said back over the phone, clearly not too keen on the idea.
"You're already in LA aren't you? What's stopping you," Wayne pressed and Drake just sighed. "It's been time since everyone got together so I think it'll be nice you know,"
"I hear you, but who's gonna be there before I agree to change my plans and come," Drake said back.
"If this is about you and Nicki, I don't wanna hear it," Wayne said before kissing his teeth. "I'm not having this shit from either of you,"
Drake just laughed. "It's not about that. I've got Adonis for the weekend, and I had agreed to have him because sophie is in LA with plans so I just need to know the situation," he explained.
"Bring him," Wayne said. "My boys are gonna be here. A few other people are gonna come with their kids to, bring him. And its all people you know know so ain't nothing to worry about,"
He took a moment just thinking about it. "Ok we'll stop by. But you know the situation Wayne, me and Sophie don't want him in the public eye like that, so if I see anyone or suspect anything, we're leaving,"
"And that's no problem, but I can assure you you'll be fine. I wouldn't do you like that and you know that..."

"Any problems, don't be afraid to call me," Sophie said as Drake walked her to the door of his home.
"Don't worry, we'll be fine. And you'll be back to get him Monday morning?" he asked and she nodded. "You guys gonna be in LA for a while or are you headed straight back?"
"We're going straight back. I've got a few things lined up next week, but I can bring him to see you the week after if you're not busy?" she suggested and just watched him as he thought. "If you're busy we can always do another time,"
"Don't worry, I'll make time. We'll work it out. Anyway I better let you go, don't wanna make you late," And at that she gave her son one last kiss before she went on her way. "And now for you young one," he said before tickling him and causing him to laugh...

"That's my boy," Drake said as Adonis gave him a big smile in the bathroom mirror after managing to vaguely repeat the words of encouragement his father had made him say. Drake run his hands through his mane of light brown locks as he just found interest in looking at his reflection.
He had dressed him in a pair of black ovo sweats with a white ovo t-shirt and a pair of black jordans; an outfit that matched his own. He helped him to put on the black hoodie that matched the sweats, allowing the outfit to be complete.
"Which one are we taking Adonis, rouge ou noir?" he asked of the two small teddies that his son couldn't leave the house without. He was quick to pick the black one, his favourite, and Drake just let him hold onto it as he picked him up from the counter top where he was stood and went to make sure they had everything they would need.
Not to long after they had made their own way down the stairs, the doorbell rang, allowing them to know that the rest of their crew had arrived. Drake let them all in and they made their way to the living room.
"All on Daddy duties today," Chubbs said and they all chuckled. Drake had invited the boys over with their kids too so they could all make the most of the day ahead of them. Being that Adonis already knew their kids so well, he was a little more comfortable having them around to help him settle in the new environment.
