There we were, staring in each other eyes.

I don't know what this feeling is, I've never felt this way before.

I cut the eye contact and I felt my cheeks burning up.

"Have I told you how beautiful you look when you blush?"

I pushed him in the shoulder and smiled.

"Stop it!"

"But it's true."

"Stop or I'll look like a tomato."

"It wasn't the first time I saw you like a tomato."

We laughed, and I grabbed a pillow and put it against my face.

"So, we could go to the park to eat ice cream, I heard it cures everything."

I smiled.

"I think that's true."

We left my house, and I gave Daniel my car keys. He drove to the park and we went to eat ice cream.

"Hum, so good!"

"I'm glad you like it."

We walk through the park and talk a lot.

After a while, we went to sit on a bench.

"Thank you, Dani!"

"For what?"

"For making me feel better."

He took my hands in his.

"I'm always here for what you need."

I hug him and we went back to my place.

"Thank you for this afternoon."

"You don't have to thank me, but maybe you can give me your number."

I smiled and we exchanged our numbers.

"I'll see you tomorrow."

"Bye!"

Daniel left and I closed the door.

I went to take a shower and change to comfortable clothes. After that I sat on the couch watching Netflix.
