Chapter 5.

The Next Day: 

*Destiny and Jennessa were walking around on the boardwalk when they saw Jakob walking over to them.*

Jakob: "Hey guys have you seen Ashley?"

Destiny: "No not since yesterday."

Jakob: "Okay well if you see her around can you tell her I was looking for her."

Jennessa: "Yea sure."

Jakob: "Okay we see you guys later I guess."

Destiny: "Bye."

*After Jakob had left Destiny and Jennessa went over to Subs and Grubs and sat down at one of the tables outside.*

Destiny: "I wonder what he wanted Ashley for."

Jennessa: "Yea I don't know but speaking of Ashley can you imagine her not being a mermaid and we are?"

Destiny: "No I mean she's apart of us like mermaid wise and if she leaves maybe it could ruin our friendship."

Jennessa: "Yea and I don't want that to happen."

Destiny: "Me either."

At Ashley's House: 

Ashley: "Hey mom"

Ashley's mom: "Hey sweetie."

Ashley: "What are you doing?"

Ashley's mom: "Oh just the usually watching my soap operas."

Ashley: "Oh."

Ashley's mom: "Yea is something bothering you?"

Ashley: "Oh its nothing mom really."

Ashley's mom: "Ok well I'm here if you ever need or want to talk about something."

Ashley: "Ok well I think I'm just going to go in my room maybe take a nap or something I'm pretty tired."

Ashley's mom: Oh ok then."

At the Boardwalk with Jennessa and Destiny:

Destiny: "That was good."

Jennessa: "Yea. Well I think I'm going to head home my mom told me to be back by 3 so we can have mother daughter bonding time." 

Destiny: "Ok then see you later!"

Jennessa: "Bye!"

*When Jennessa left Destiny's phone started to ring.*

Destiny: "Hello?"

Ashley: "Hey its me."
