Illumi looked at his sister. 37 hours into the walking to the Hunter's Exam sight and she was getting on his nerves. After her display of nen, he ultimately decided to bring her to make her practice nen to control it. Her nen was definitely intimidating even to him and he wanted to make sure she could use it at her own will. The way there to the sight was supposed to be nen basics and control. However, Ayami was too busy chatting up a storm of random things. Like the weather, weapons, and food. God I swear she can talked about anything for hours on end.

He had also decided to travel as his alias Gittarackur so no one would recognize him or see him as a Zoldyck even though most have never even seen them. He forced Ayami to wear the pins as a form to protect her incase if anyone is looking for her as the missing experiment. She was extremely reluctant at first for wearing the pins but ending up doing so for the sake of going outside. He looked back down at her figure, a small mime with his pins at her hips, cheeks, and nose chatting her heart away. The irony. He rolled his eyes and continued walking continuously making clicking noises.

"Hey there's an old lady up ahead." Ayami pointed at the woman and Illumi saw she wasn't alone. A couple of masked people surrounded her and she was the main focus. Most likely one of the examiner's help. Illumi wasted no time to threaten her life with a couple of pins at her throat to pass through the next location. She quickly and begrudgingly pointed to the now open doors leading off into a dark tunnel. They walked through with ease.
They reached a small cabin after walking in a forest at night. They saw the shapeshifters follow them until they had reached the cabin. Illumi and Ayami looked at each other expectantly as the "beasts" attacked them from above. It took a while to realize that the people they saw hurt were the beast themselves or somehow connected. They were now in the trees still in pursuit of the shapeshifter. Illumi looked over his sister seeing as she hadn't realized it yet. She's gotten slow. Heh. Perfect. He rolled his eyes and came down to the floor waiting for them to attack and come to them instead.

Ayami looked at her brother confused. Why is he stopping now? We were having so much fun... She let at a loud sigh and fell to the floor catching his attention.

"Illu, seriously. Learn to relax cause look we're having fun! It's getting me hyped for the Hunter's Exam." She said with a high pitched voice making her sound younger than what she really was. She started spinning around aimlessly.

"If you haven't realized, those beasts are shapeshifters. They're the injured people we saw earlier in the cabin. It's a complete waste of time." Illumi tried saying but it came across as clicks. He hoped that the clicks still held some sense to his sister.

Heh. So he thought I didn't know. Ayami kicked some dirt at him dirtying his hair and clothes. "Loser. I did know but unlike most people in our family, I know when to have fun."

"Ayami. I understand you've been locked away for a long time and shut away from the world but-"

" No, you don't understand.This isn't the same thing as being locked in the chamber for punishment because we did something wrong on our mission. This isn't something I can forget so easily and get over. I probably won't ever forget it because what they did to me. All the testing, the needles, the darkness, and the PAIN I had to endure. So I'm sorry for ruining your trip and I'm sorry I ever came back!" As she yelled, waves of nen rolled off her body flooding the whole forest in a dark and cold stillness as if time had frozen everything around it. Her pain was getting to her as she cried glowing tears and fell to her knees. Ayami knew she had overdone it but she felt the shapeshifters near and frozen in fear after the nen wave. She took all the strength she could manage and focused on shaping the black nen waves into tentacle-like arms quickly shooting at the creatures. The arms captured one of them and started oozing the black tar paralyzing it.
