A year filled with roller coaster of emotions
A year filled with unexpected situations
A year I guess I'll always remember
With bittersweet smiles and tears...
Because along with the roller coaster of emotions
I got to realize my weaknesses
When my heart broke for the younger ones;
When I couldn't contain the pain
Of how fast the world is changing.
My eyes gave out and tears poured like rain
But I knew that I should be the stronger one
And not give up just like that.
I got to see how reality works
When even the people who made me cry
Can still make my eyes dry
And make me curve my lips into a smile.
And just the way those unexpected situations came along the way,
Life brought me unexpected solutions
And beautiful as well as wonderful new people
Who helped me deal with all those terrors.
All those smiles, tears, bitterness, hopelessness, positivities, and hard-as-rock attitudes...
I'll remember them all
Because somehow...
2018...
Taught me...
That this should be where I'm supposed to be...
And I should keep going
Until destiny tells me,
Stop.
I'll lead you
To where you're truly supposed to be...
I prepared you for this genuinely
I know you're now ready.
