Why is it so hard to let my feelings go
When in fact I just met you?
Yup, we just met like 3 weeks ago
And here's my feelings acting up again
As though it never learns from the pain
Of the past my heart has been through.
I know it's not you,
The one who'll walk with me
In my messy and unimaginable journey
So I tried hard to be distant from you
Thinking I could salvage this heart of mine
From completely falling for you
But I guess I've already crossed the line
Between staying away and staying in place
I guess, I've gone way deeper from the later.
That's why I'm suffering from what comes after
Letting this feeling chase you
Rather than chasing my feelings so I could avoid you.
