What kind of Super hero is a SUPERMOM?
I.
She carried you in her belly for 9 months,
And had sleepless nights after that
Because she'd tend to you
When you'd suddenly cry out loud.
II.
She has seen you cry a lot of times,
So even when you don't say a word
She knows when you are sad
Or when your day is bad.
III.
Even when you lie
About how you truly feel
It's not like that in her eye
Because with just one look,
She knows what's wrong with your 'heart.'
IV.
She knows the answer
Not only to your homework
(Because she'd study it hard for you)
But also to your sulky behavior.
(Right away, she'd prepare your fav'rite food
Or hum your fav'rite song
Or tell you she's there to listen)
V.
When you are in pain,
She'd wish she has the super power
To take it all away
(But she's a human supermom)
So she does everything she can
To make you feel better
The pain, lesser.
VI.
She can not fly
(That's beyond her power)
But she can help you fly,
Soar high in the sky
Just so you can reach your dreams
And make her proud.
VII.
She is a super hero
Without supernatural powers
But she has a super high energy
That makes her do all sorts of things
Out of love and care
For the sake of making your world
A better place to live in.
VIII.
She's got what it takes to be a super hero
That's why I call her SUPERMOM,
She is everyone's super hero.
I've got a Supermom
And I know you, too.
So don't be shy to thank her today,
Tell her how grateful you are
And how much you love her
With all your heart.
