In the span of the next few days, you're pleasantly surprised to find that as she slowly leaks over more information about himself, you're spending more time in his luxurious office room during lunch breaks instead of with Minhee.

But what surprised you most was seeing how open he was with you, a large contrast to the Jimin you had first been greeted with. Getting to know him better, you found that his smile, his real smile, was breathtaking. His eyes would crinkle into crescent moons, lips stretching wide as pink would tint his cheeks.

You could tell that if he wasn't stressed, he would be a very happy person. You had gotten little glimpses of his real personality hiding under all the pain, and you were amazed.

It made you a lot happier, seeing him this way. His laughter was like the tinkling of bells, sounding amazing in their own right when he laughed at any cheesy joke you'd make. Your heart would flutter, seeing him so happy.

Thankfully, his bandage was now off and he no longer wore beanies to work but let his midnight black hair loose and tousled. Girls gasped whenever he ruffled his hair, and he'd merely send them winks, but in secret, he'd tell you he hated those foolish employees.

As for that fateful night where he had gotten the bandage in the first place, the whole mystery was a dead end to you. Jimin couldn't remember much information about what happened that night, due to banging his head on the streetlamp.

You didn't blame him, but you couldn't help but feel a tinge of curiosity. What had Jimin done to cause the shop owner to just toss him out like that?

Speaking of the incident where he received his bandage, there was a dead end. Jimin couldn't remember much information about what happened that night, and why he was thrown out.

You tried not to overthink anything, not wanting to worry your friends. You hadn't told anyone, not Jimin, Minhee or Daehyung.

Daehyung.

The two of you seemed to be drifting apart, but not because you didn't want to speak to him. It was more of a situation where you felt the vibe where Daehyung didn't want to speak to you so much anymore. Still not sure about what you did wrong, you shrugged off your worries, thinking everyone needs personal space and that he would talk to you when he was comfortable.

These were the type of thoughts that kept you up late at night, preventing sleep from reaching your sleep-deprived brain. Mostly relying on coffee to function, you decided that going out for a brief walk would help clear your mind before you got back to work.

Heading out of your office as you slung a purse on your shoulders, you stopped when you heard voices coming from the area of the lounge. It was nowhere near break time, so nobody should be in the lounge at these times.

Especially you. If you got caught heading out, you'd be in deep trouble. You were about to turn back and head to your room but the voices caught your attention.

"They're looking everywhere for Jimin, but they haven't found him yet. Are you aware of how risky it is?" A scared voice piped out, making your eyes widen at the mention of Jimin's name.

Hiding once again behind a potted plant, you listened carefully to their conversation. Did they know something?

"He was inside my shop, for crying out loud! I can't be involved in this, it'll ruin my reputation and they'll force me to join them! I have to turn him in." A different voice cried, sounding frustrated.

You heard some bells ringing in the back of your head, as you started to make a connection, but you weren't quite sure of it yet. Then, you stiffened. Shop? Kicking out? Jimin?

Was this shop owner the one that had kicked Jimin out?

No, there was no way there would be such a large coincidence.

"You don't have to do this, Yoongi." The first voice said. "There must be another way, I won't let them harm Jimin. I'm his friend." He said, trying to sound confident.

That's when it came together. The frightened speaker was Min Yoongi, a famous shop owner within Seoul, famous for his wine and alcohol dealings.

But most important to note, he was a Min, meaning he could be a possible member of their society.

Now that you thought of it, there was a possibility that much more than wine was being dealt with inside those shop walls.

"There isn't another way. I have to turn him in, to save my reputation. The Mins won't be happy if I don't." Yoongi says desperately, trying to convince his friend to believe him.

You couldn't take it anymore. Knowing time was precious and this was worth a try, you drew in a deep breath before marching in the direction of their voices before stopping at the door of the lounge.

"There is an alternative way." You say, your voice sounding stronger than you had anticipated. They both whip their heads towards you, eyes resembling a deer caught in headlights.

The man you recognize to be Kim Namjoon blinks at you before sitting straighter. "Seon Y/N?" He says, sounding surprised.  What are you doing here?"

Clearing your throat, you look into both of their eyes individually before speaking, sounding sure of yourself.

"I'm here to show you guys a way to bring peace to all of this mess."
