Chapter 9: Awkward

Angel's POV:
5 Months Later*

I woke up to kids jumping on me. "Angel!!! Get up!! Come play with us." They cried. I looked up to see Kiyonna and David jumping on me. They were part of my pack. "Sorry guys. Got school." I said as I checked the time. I got up and took my bath. "Angel, why do you have a tail?" Kiyonna asked. "Yeah, you look like a freak." David said. I stared at them. "Because I'm a good person and good people are rewarded with treasures if they're good." I said. "I'm a good person." David said. "Yeah right. Boy you stole Kyanna"s sandwich and his her car keys." Kiyonna said.

I fired off and brushed my teeth and put on my clothes. I walked downstairs to be greeted by everyone. "Hey guys." I said. "So Angel, we're still going shopping later?" Asked. Sasha. I nodded. I grew friends in this pack. It took me some time to get used to it. My mama and Terry grew closer and Kyanna got a new boyfriend. She's now 3 months pregnant because of it. She transferred schools to go to mine. Terry really wanted me to transfer to hers but I refused.

Me and Kacey may not be able to see each other outside of school but she's my friend. I wanna see her. I still see Connor, Tyler, and, of course, Kelly's evil ass. Her and Connor had a falling out but they got back together. They still fuck other people but come back to each other. He keeps his distance and I keep mine. I still love him. He's my mate. But I still never told him nor has Kacey. I made her swear not to say anything. I found out Tyler has a kid.

I walked in the gym one day a d he was face timing a girl and little girl. She called him daddy and her called her princess and I know he wasn't talking to the girl. Her name was Maria. She was sweet little thing and she favored Tyler more than her mother's. But she has her mother's eye color. He let's me talk to her sometimes. He sometimes goes out of town to see her. If George or Stephanie found out, they'd lose it. But she is so cute. I swore I'd keep quiet as long as I became her other auntie. He agreed.

My mama pulled up to the school. "All right. Remember, I won't be home in time. I'm working a double. If you get hungry, order pizza or go hunt. Love you." She said. "Yes ma'am. Love you too." I said. I got out and ran to get breakfast. I walked yo the bathroom to change my pad. I'm a girl so get the fuck over it. I walked in and looked up to see Kelly sucking a dude off. Fucking Slutmonkey. I walked out and ran into Connor. We started at each other. Then somebody bumped into me and spilled orange juice on me. Oh fuck. Run to a different bathroom. I ran to a bathroom and hid.

"This is off to a bad morning." I muttered under my breath. I dried off and walked to my class. I saw Kelly and Connor walking in my direction, holding hands. I turned around and quickly walked away. "Angel?!" Called a voice. Kacey noooo. She caught up to me. "Heyyy Angel." She said, grabbing Connor's attention. "Heyyyyy Kacey." I said, with a hard smile. "So we still up for shopping later?" She asked. I looked at her confused. "Remember, last night, you said we'd go shopping again." She said. I widened my eyes. "Don't tell me you forgot?" She asked. I shook my head. I wanted to get far from Connor and Kelly.

"No no. I didn't forget. Its just that I told someone from my pack I'd go shopping with them." I said, shyly. She frowned. "But I'll still go." I said quickly. I saw Kelly and Connor watching us. I tried walking away. "Angel!!" Tyler called. Oh God. "So listen, yo friend Ashely. Is she available?" He asked. I frowned. "You know she's not." I said, inching away. "Angel?!" Called a voice. Oh come on. "So you just gon forget you supposed to take me to the doctor for my checkup?" She asked. "I'll do that too." I said. "Hey Angel?!" Called another voice. Bruh what the hell man?!
