Chapter 7: My Decision

Angel's POV:

A week passed since my encounter with Connor. I heard him and Kelly fucking and I didn't approve. I've avoided him after that. He does stare at me but I don't fucking care. I didn't want anything to do with him, whether he's my mate or not. I told Kacey about it and told her that he was my mate. She was shocked but told me she'll make sure to keep him away. I've become best friends with her.

I am gonna miss her. I decided I didn't want to stay. She was crushed by my decision. But she accepted it. So we talked and did all we could to make our friendship last. Today was the day that magical beings all go to human schools together. I've also tried to escape this house a few times. But Kacey wanted me to stay the full week. I told her I was gonna visit her no matter what. She was fine with it but it still didn't matter. She was still upset. "Okay, kids. You're first day to a human school. You guys do good, be good, and don't kill anyone." Shelley said, as she kissed us. Even me.

I was gonna miss her too. She's like a second mom to me. And George was like the dad I always wanted. Though I'm black and they're white. The guards took us to a school. I sat in the front with Kacey. But of course Connor has to be a douche and sit next to me. We pulled up to a school, got out and got our schedules. The four of us had every class together. Crazy right? But there was one class where each other didn't have with the rest. I walked off my class with Tyler following me. "So Angel, how feel bout us now? You still leaving?" He asked. "Yep, she is." Kacey said, icily.

"Kacey, please font be upset. You know I'm gonna come visit you." I said. She rolled her eyes and walked into a library. I sighed and walked to my class. Kelly appeared out of a doorway and saw Connor. "Connor, baby." She said and kisses him. I rolled my eyes. Kelly had 3 classes with me. They both walked in and sat behind three rows me. Its for the best. If I see them hugging and kissing one more time, I'm gonna flip. "All right, rumps in chairs, eyes on me please." The teacher said. Turns out we had assigned seats.

I had to swap places with Kelly. FUUUUUUCCCCKKK. I screamed internally. I got up and she purposefully bumped me. I closed my eyes and counted. I sat down next to Connor and hoped he didn't talk to me. I was wrong. "So you ready to stop avoiding me and tell me what your problem is with me?" He asked. I clenched my fist. "Angel I know you hear me." He said. I stayed silent. "All right then. Let's play the hard way." He said, icily. The class went on fast. We learned about the nervous system. The bell rung and we packed up and left. I walked faster than Kelly and Connor.

Where is the Gym? Didn't they give you a map? No just a schedule. I was lost. Then I looked at the room numbers. I followed it. Then I saw a sight that broke me. Connor fucking Kelly behind a tree. *SNARLS* *whimpers* My eyes welled up. I felt a lump in my throat. The thunder and lightning sounding above me. I control the weather. It was based on my emotions. Its another reason why my old pack didn't like me. I cried and took off running to a bathroom. Kacey was in there. "Angel? What happened?" She asked. "My mate, a.k.a. you're brother is fucking his girlfriend outside." I sobbed.

I told her about my other powers on how I can control the weather. She knows about my other powers its one of the things we talked about. She held me and comforted me till I calmed down. "Come on love. Let's go to class." She said. I cleaned myself up and we walked to class. Usually I care about my lateness but this time I didn't care. I was hurt and angry. We walked in all eyes on us. "Glad you ladies could join us." The teacher said. "Piss off." I said. "Uh, we're happy to be here." Kacey said. I looked up to see Tyler laughing. He heard me. Kelly and Connor sat at the back with him. He had his arm around her.
