I woke to the usual, Pete already at work and Luca in his spot, sucking on his dummy.
Honking outside got me out of bed, grabbing bub and walking to the door.
"What the heck?" I mumbled, running out the door, smiling from ear to ear.
"Is this who I think it is?" I yelled, seeing Pete's parents getting out of the car.
Pete's mom pulled me into a big hug and then his dad.
Tammy grabbed Luca and talked to him while I spoke to Derek.
"What's in the trailer?" I asked, seeing Pete walk over from the side of it.
"Have a look." Derek laughed and I hopped on the sides.
"Stop it. Dallas!?" I cried in disbelief.
I opened the trailer cage and walked my horse from home out.
"You brought him for me?"
"Course we did, thought he might wanna go back to his rider."
I smiled and hugged them both, then pat my horse from home.
"It's been so long boy." I whispered, kissing his head.
I grabbed Luca and he looked at the horse in awe and I smiled.
"Look Bub, it's mummy's horsey."
Tammy grabbed him back off me and with some help from Pete I jumped on Dallas.
"Coming?" I asked, and he grinned, jumping on his own.
We rode down the paddock, across the little rivers and over the hills.
God I missed doing this.
We stopped after about half an hour straight of riding and I smiled.
"Thank you for doing this."
"Thank you for always putting us before you, I love you baby."
I took a deep breath and grabbed his hand.
"You boys are my world."
"You're the best Mumma."
"So baby?..."
"Yeah hun?"
"I'm pregnant."
"What?"
"I'm pregnant Pete."
He smiled and got off his horse, grabbing me off mine and pressing our lips together.
"Oh baby, this family is getting bigger every year." I laughed and he grinned.
"Our family."
