I can see pain living in her eyes

The remnants of those told lies

I can see hatred that's long been dwelling,

inside the soul who's used to losing.

I can see the glint of anxiety

caused by our judgmental society

I can see the glint of despair,

of the broken heart beyond repair.

I can see the glitter of those unshed tears

that's been hidden for years

Well, I can see them all

for thy eyes mirror thy soul.
