To you who brought my darkest

To you whom I loved in all honesty

To you who broke my heart with such cruelty.

Hello, it was such a melancholic evening

For this girl you left years ago and still grieving

Meeting you at the library

For me, is one of those sweetest memory.

I was this shy and fragile teen

Who was made fun by those mean

I always walk anxious, heads down

Afraid to see nor hear the mockeries of the town.

Thank you very much because you came

You loved me neglecting all the shame

You loved me like a true gentleman.

But change is the only constant thing in this world

And a heartbreaking change was about to unfold

Little by little, apart we drifted

And not later on your feelings for me departed.

On a floral stationery you once wrote:

But while walking with me in darkness you stumble

You were tricked by the lights and found yourself fall

A waxing hot tear fell, burned you and you threw me out.

I'm maybe hurt but still I wanted to let you know

How thankful and privileged I am to be loved by you

Who greedily took the time you have graciously given.
