Twilight, Daybreak
A soft glowing light scattered on the horizon
The mix coloured rays of the sunken sun
Colouring the cloudless sky into purple
Slowly the bright daylight dwindle.
The doves flapping their wings on a V-line
Cooing in flight bound to home
The magpies' chirps slowly faded
As their hunt for food for now has ended.
The blooming bright Four 0' clock willfully fluttered her buds close
As for now her beauty, darkness obscures
The leaves fell on the ground, withered
Trunks stood proud for the many storms they've weathered.
Darkness slowly cave in
Gradually coloring the horizon black
Zenith, the smiling moon slowly peeks
At north Polaris winks.
The horizon was then in full black
Glittering lights fully packed
Up the nightsky are constellations of stars
Down the land are neon lights.
The cicadas are humming crescendo
The nocturn bats are dancing tango
Moths lay at peace
Listening to the melodious piece.
Little by little the day closed her eyes
Enjoying the cradle of the night
Her duty reached the tail end
Til then she'll wake up, dawn
Just like the twilight, coloring the horizon in full bloom.
