     Flashes of lights and camera are everywhere,hindi naman sila mga reporter's dahil company photographer silang lahat and also some documentary personnel in Xerxes company.

   Pagkapasok namin sa main entrance ay napatigil ang lahat but I just give them a bored look as Xerxes give them an emotionless expression.iginaya niya ako pa upo sa isang mesa sa gitna that makes my eyes role secretly.

   Damn!I hate center of spotlight kahit naman sanay na ako kapag nasa entabalado na nag pe-perform sa theater sa school ayaw ko paring nasa akin ang atensyon ng lahat.

  Binalingan ko si Xerxes "hindi pa ba magsisimula?"I asked him dahil sa totoo lang ayaw kong pumunta sa mga ganitong gathering. It's sucks.

"10 seconds"napangiwi ako sa sagot niya,tsk.a man of a few words ang peg ni koya.

  Maya-maya pa ay umakyat ang lalaking emcee sa stage.

"Good evening everyone,we are all here to celebrate our 99th year anniversary  of our company and also,to welcome our new investors,who gives their trust and loyalty to the owner of our company.before we start,may I call Mr. Xerxes Vallier for his welcome message to us.thank you"

    Tumayo so Xerxes and to my surprise he held his hand. I just give him a questioning look.

"I told you,I will introduce you"

"You don't have to do this Xerxes"nag igtingan ang panga niya sa sinabi ko.

"You better get your ass up before I pull you"madiin niyang bigkas kaya padabog kong iniabot ang kamay ko sa kamay niya at sumunod sa kanya.tsk.

   All eyes on us,Lalo na sa akin.makikita sa mga mata nila ang pagtataka and hate.tsk the hell I care with them.

   Xerxes handed a microphone before he speak "good evening..."he started in a cold voice, as always ".... I don't prepared speech so all I can say is enjoy. and also I will introduce to all of you, your new boss..."he put his hand on my waist "....this is Jane Madrigal Vallier.my wife"

   Shocked was written on their faces.may nagbubulungan pa nga.this not a good idea.

     Pagkababa namin sa stage I siya namang bukas ng main entrance. reviling a man and a woman who can make your knees tremble and can intimidate you but of course not in my case.

"Chairman!"lahat ng empleyado ay nag bow sa bagong dating.chairman?who are they?.

   Their eyes darted in ours,I saw how the man clenched his jaw and the woman who looking at me from head to toe.

"Xerxes"one word.just one word but you can feel the coldness of his voice, more coldness than Xerxes.

"Follow us, you two"the woman spoke bago niya hinila ang lalaki sa isang dulo ng hotel.

    I look at Xerxes "who are they?"tanong ko sa kanya

"My parents"gulat na napatingin ako sa kanya pero siya ay ginaya niya lang ako papunta sa pinuntahan ng parents niya kuno.like seriously? magulang niya Yun?ang bata pa ng mga hitsura ng mga yun?

    Nandito kami ngayon sa isang kuwarto ng hotel,nakaupo ako sa pang isahang sofa habang si Xerxes naman ay nasa tabi at nakaupo rin sa single sofa and ang parents niya kuno ay nasa harap namin.

     Awkward is understatement. "Who is she"matigas na sabi ng lalaki kay Xerxes.

"My wife"walang ka gatol-gatol niyang sabi that makes his father's mad.

    Kung tinatanong niyo ako kung ano ang naramdaman ko ngayon?I felt calm no nervous feeling that I feel Everytime Xerxes was around although he's beside me pero parang natatabunan ito ng pagkakalma ko.

"Bullshit Xerxes! you marry this shit? how about your fiance? Audrey?"napantig ang tenga ko sa salitang 'shit' napansin ko rin ang pag igtingan ng panga ni Xerxes dahil sa narinig.

    Ang nakakatawa pa ay may kaunting kurot sa dibdib ko ang namuo,sa kadahilanang hindi ako tanggap ng magulang niya.

"Don't dare to call her name's dad she's my wife!"he's furious as he shouted his father.

"Don't shouted at your father Xerxes"buwelta ng mama niya at sinamaan siya ng tingin.

"You better annulled him miss, you don't know what your up to"nawalan ng emosyon ang mukha ko at tiningnan sila ng nakakatamad na tingin.

"I don't care if you like me or not but you have no right to dictate me of what will I do..."tingin ko si Xerxes na ngayon ay walang emosyon na nakatingin sa akin "....I will annulled him if I want but I think it would not gonna happen, you are maybe his parents but  you don't own his life"

"My son's has a fiance and you will never be fit in our world"Ani naman ng mama ni Xerxes

"I never treat her as my Fiance mom so shut up,my wife is here"depensa niya

"You shut up! you know the law Xerxes but you disobey it!"galit na sabi ng tatay niya.

"The hell-"hinawakan ko siya dahilan para mapatigil siya sa pagsasalita.

"Calm your self jerk"I hiss, napabuntong hininga naman siya, nakita sa gilid ng mata ko ang pagkagulat sa mata ng nanay niya.binalingan ko sila ng tingin.

"I don't care about his ex-fiance, ma'am and your right I will never fit in his world as he will never be fit in my world but as long as I'm his wife no one can change that"tumayo ako at tiningnan ang wrist watch ko.

"We better go Xe I want to rest"tumayo naman siya at iginaya ako palabas pero napahinto kami ng magsalita ang mama niya.

"Is she?"lumingon siya then he nod "she is"Ani niya bago kami lumabas,nalilitong nakatingin lang ako sa kanya.

    Using his limo,pauwi na kami.tahimik lang ako simula pa kanina.

"Are you ok?"napabaling ako ng tingin sa kanya,is he concerned?pero sa tono ng boses niya ay parang hindi naman.

"Your parents doesn't like me"I told him truthfully.napatingin naman siya sa akin.

"I know it from the very start"

"Then why?"he hold my hand and look at me with unidentified emotions in his eyes

"Theirs a reason that I can't tell you for now and I hope someday you will understand my situation"bumuntong hininga ako.

"I will listen to it Xe if the times come.."I looked at the window "and I hope that we can make our relationship works"for the first time I smiled at him. A real smile that my friends and brother can only see it.

   That night,I realized something.maybe things happen for a reason and I will find what is it. This situation is not bad at all.tama nga sila, acceptance can make you free.
