Natagpuan ko ang sarili kong nakaupo sa sahig habang hawak ang duguang katawan ni Miller. Nagsisimula na siyang umubo ng dugo at lumalabas ito mula sa bibig niya. I can see pain in his eyes, pain from knife that struck his back, pain from the truth of his sister's betrayal.
"P-paano mo 'to nagawa sa sarili mong kapatid?!" I screamed at Ruth. I could feel my neck tightening from screaming and my heart beating faster than it ever did.
Nag-angat ako ng tingin at wala akong ibang nararadaman kundi matinding galit habang nakatingin kay Ruth na nakangisi parin at animo'y hindi man lang apektado sa ginawa. She's just standing right in front of us, holding a knife like a heartless psycho. All along there's been another psycho next door and I didn't even know!
"Ang totoo niyan, hindi ko kapatid si Miller. Kasi ang totoo kong kapatid," itinuro niya ako at pabulong na nagsalita sa hangin habang nakatingin sa akin. "Ikaw."
Hindi ako nakapagsalita sa sobrang gulat at kalituhan.
Ruth giggled and waved her hand playfully. "Hey Sis.."
"W-what?" napasinghap ako. She can't be Alicia.
"Ask my fake kuya over there," natatawang sambit ni Ruth kay Miller kaya otomatiko akong nagbaba ng tingin kay Miller na ngayon ay hinang-hina at namimilipit sa sakit. Pero nakikita ko ang pagpatak ng mga luha sa kanyang mga mata habang nakatingin sa direksyon ni Ruth.
"R-ruth kapatid kita.." Garagal ang boses ni Miller habang sumisinghap. Nanginginig ang kanyang mga kamay kaya hinawakan ko ito nang mahigpit.
"You're not fooling anyone, Miller!" Umalingawngaw ang matinis na sigaw ni Ruth kaya mariin akong napapikit habang dinadama ang matinding galit na sumasakop sa puso ko.
"Well since, my fake bro is too weak to tell the truth. Allow me to spill the tea!" Humalahak si Ruth. "Everything that he told you, they were all lies! Lies! Lies! Lies! He's so good at telling lies! Just like his Mom and Dad! They were all--"
