#14~ Frodo

PROMPT: A Frodo one.

Frodo had left the Shire without even telling you. To be honest, you were pretty irate with him. After all, he had left with no goodbye, and you had no idea of where he was. He could’ve been dead for all you knew. When he came back, though, it was almost impossible to be mad at him still.

He had walked back into the Shire with slumped shoulders that showed just how much he had been through over the time he was unaccounted for. This hobbit, unlike the one who you had known before, was battered and so burdened with everything that had happened. You had heard news about the great war at Mordor, but you were never expecting him to have to go through so much. For heaven’s sake, he was missing one of his fingers!

You had spent many late nights just talking with him and trying to understand what he had been through. He would cry, and yell, and he would even smile at some parts of the long story. Some of the events tugged at your heart, and you would try to hide you tear streaked face as he looked into the roaring fire while he spoke. Once he managed to figure out that you were crying, he would only bring you into his arms and say the same line: “don’t cry for me. I’m fine now.”

Frodo was distant from the rest of the hobbits in the Shire, and you were the only one that he could really talk to anymore. You could see the pain in his eyes whenever you or anyone else said something that would remind him of his journey. The world was now filled with reminders for him. He’d get through his pain, though, because you were right there to help him.

Hey, guys! It’s been another stretch before updating, but not as long as the last one J I am trying to get as much done as I can, and I hope to do two more today (maybe even a few tomorrow). As you can now see, I can do LOTR imagines too. I love the books, and the movies are very good as well. I’ve even saw Sean Astin (Sam) recently at comicon; he was a sweetheart.
