#12~ Kili

PROMPT: A cute Kili one.

There were many days where you found yourself nestled up to Kili’s side while the fire roared in the fireplace. It had always been your favorite way to waste the day away, and Kili had no complaints with it. It was a time where all you had to do was sit and listen to his heart beat with its quiet and rhythmic melody. There was no stress in those moments, and you could just sit and listen.

Some days you wouldn’t even talk, but for the majority one of you would be spouting off random ideas or things that had been done trough out the day. Even if both of you hadn’t done anything noteworthy, you would just sit there and talk about everything and nothing until you couldn’t talk anymore. Sometimes, if you talked too much that night, you would wake up to find that your voice was hoarse and less than ready to be used.

So, when that normal time came along and you were once again buried into Kili and watching the flames dance, you sighed in content. This was the only place you would ever truly want to be; anything was better when you had him beside you, but this was your place. It was that place where the two of you could feel at ease, and you always looked forward to the next time that it would come around.

One more to go for the night before I have to call it quits and shove off to bed. I have enjoyed this late night session of writing J Dedicated to the amazing commenter who asked for this cute little snippet!
