Boundries are built to prevent the nightmares of reality
Walls are made to deter unwelcome visitors from our world
And while we may feel absolutely safe behind our fortresses
there are always things stronger than us that may tear it down
A choking hold can be worse than the swift hand of death
No death can be worse than the pain of a tortured heart
A soul where it doesn't belong would rather be anywhere else
But there is no escape from being trapped in your own world
The world works differently for each and every person
And no matter how many walls we build to protect ourselves
Someone with a way in thinks they know who we really are
They really want to hold you down and make you like them
So whats the lesson to learn from this nightmarish world
Maybe good intentions don't offset the cruel misunderstanding
Unable to speak in a world dependant upon representing oneself
If you can't state your opinions, people will make them for you
