When Wheeljack, Bulkhead and Arcee got back, It hadn't taken long for Miko to get interested, so I had peace again. Although, I was quite fascinated by the small silver ring that Arcee was holding.

I hopped down off of the cat walk and sat on the floor beside the humans brown couch. The three humans stood next to me while Ratchet sat down Bulkhead on the birth beside Megatron. Someone had obviously comm linked the others, as they came in and surrounded Arcee and the strange hula-hoop.
What? That's what it looked like.

"Arcee, where did you find this?" Optimus questions in a bewildered tone.
"It was hidden in the energon in Antartica. But the moment I put it on my wrist...I- I saw..."

"Cliffjumper."

Megatron surprised everyone as he spoke.

Optimus looked at Megatron but simply looked away seconds after. But everyone noticed. "Will someone please tell me what's going on." Knockout said impatiently. Optimus looked at him blankly.

"Whilst I was enduring mentoring by Megatronus," Upon hearing his past, he lowered his head "I was early for an after battle session, so I watched him fight. But upon both sides wrists were small silver hoops adorned. They were named Connection Keys, made to put the warrior at risk of past memories. To change the fight. I thought they were all destroyed by the Decepticon hands, as even they knew of such devastation they could cause. But it would seem that someone had salvaged one, and I have suspicions on who."

"Icarus." Predaking spoke up, from behind Ratchet. Megatron looked up at him.
"The young wretch that took my ship. I suspect you know him." Predakings look said enough, he didn't want to talk about it. So Ratchet did.

"He was an old friend of his, but after your little Galvatron episode, he managed to escape death." Megatron growled slightly at the name, but Shockwave spoke up. "The young Predacon may have intended to retrieve it before ourselves, so it may be tracked."
"For once, I couldn't agree more." Ratchet huffed.

He took the small ring from Arcee, who was looking down in grieving. The moment it left Arcee, It began to glow. I sat up straighter and looked at the strange sight. It was a bright white light, like a halo of some sort, before a white figure stood in front of Ratchet. Everyone gasped as a femme stood in front of him, before I could get details on this strange light, a different one formed, a broad mech, and it kept changing.

Ratchet simply stared forward, fists clenched, sadness written across his optics. It was then that I realised that these Cybertronians of light were the patients that he had seen killed or perish, without being able to help them.

The lights began to fade as he slowly put the Connection key on the catwalk beside me.

He looked at the small hoop as everyone looked at him. Even the Decepticons looked at him with sadness mixed in there optics. It was silent for a long while as many thought of what to say.

"So," Smokescreen spoke, way to confidently. "Why would Icarus need this?" I looked at Predaking as his own optics met mine. We both knew.
"Because he knows about Tua." I said. I didn't need to, but I had to hear the words come out of my mouth.

My carrier, Tua, was fighting for the autobot cause. But during the final hours of my time on Cybertron, she was needlessly murdered for defending Predaking. Of all the memories, her appearance stood clear. A tall, slim femme, slightly shorter than Optimus. Cloud white and blue in edges, a battle mask in the shape of a T she wore at all battles.

"What did she say?" Bumblebee said, after understanding that Predaking did not translate as usual.

"Her carrier, my sparkmate, Tua. She was murdered by Icarus in cold blood to make me bow. He was going to use the key to torture us into creating his army for the rest of time."
I looked at the small, delicate hula hoop sized ring. It was such a beautiful adornment, embezzled with shapes and no scratches, despite its crash landing.

"Well, why don't we destroy it?" Smokescreen said. Megatron snapped his head up,
"No! Are you mad? That's what he wants us to do. Once smashed, the energon within it will get to our heads. That's why they were destroyed by my own reckoning. I lost far to many mech to its grieving fuel." I sniffed it slightly as he spoke and realised he was correct. It smelt of a strange energon, much like the synthetic energon that Ratchet showed me.

"We shall keep it heavily guarded at all times, one person at a time to guard it an hour." Optimus spoke reasoning. "Arcee, was there anything else in there?"

She shook her head and said nothing. "There could have been more than one. Agent Fowler, could you be on the lookout for any objects such as this one?" Agent Fowler nodded whilst looking at the Key.

"Yeah, but we won't be able to touch it. Moment we see one, we'll let you know." Optimus nodded, as I remembered the story of which Fowler was kidnapped by Starscream. Ratchet grabbed a pair of pliers, next to a pile of broken or smashed ones. Bulkhead.

He picked up the ring with the pliers and saw that it was to no prevail as it started to glow. He put it down again, quicker this time. Before he could try again, Optimus stepped forward and plucked the small ring. It began to glow but he walked slowly to the designated protection area. "I will take first watch."

That's when the glow of a femme stood in front of him and I knew the stories Predaking told me.

Elita 1 smiled warmly at the blank faced Prime, who turned on his heel and left, the torturing light following close behind.
