Part 20

Part 20: Nineteen

I tiptoed and doubled my awareness of my surroundings. I pressed my fingers on the wall, praying that they were really gone now.

As I was about to step aside from the wall I was hiding behind in, my companion got in the way. "What do you think you're doing?" Junghoon's voice echoed through the hallway.

Since my right foot was hanging midair, I looked ludicrous. Even though the boys called and said the Star Life Theater crew were no longer there, I just couldn't help but still feel cautious. They might be lingering around the building somewhere.

"Making sure that the filming staff really left the building," I set my foot down. With Junghoon's tone, I felt at ease. I could not be caught on camera by a reality show, not on this building, not where the global superstars are staying in.

A few meters away, the door opened. I almost jumped, I also felt Junghoon alarmed.

"You should pose like that more often, baby sis." Then I heard snickering. More snickering.

Standing outside the doorway now, Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun did not even bother to hide their laughs.

I regained my normal stance, sighing in relief, and I did not feel to scowl at the duo at the far corner of the hallway. The staffs were really gone. I breathe steadily, but I still felt cautious.

Wednesday. We planned for a album jacket photoshoot, the album cover design, the finalization of the album and how the tracks were supposed to be arranged.

Thursday. They held out the album design suggestions and we haven't narrowed down to one. Finally, we decided for it to be a picture of me that would be selected from the shoot. A draft in the computer was given later in the afternoon, the album background color was white and every edge of the square-shaped photograph has a classical style of curved lines. At the center to the right was a hand-writing font style of the album title. A space at the left side of the picture was left for my full-body shot.

Friday. The staffs planned about the music video. They asked me if there's a concept I would like to suggest. If there was, I should not hesitate to say it. Since I had no idea what to say, I let them speak first.

"There would be lot of acting, obviously. You've been trained in acting camp, right?" Acting camps were given during the second year of training, considered as a minor camp since you can focus for it later in your career.

She did not wait for an answer and continued, "Miss Sara will be acting as the main lead of the music video. The concept is based from the lyrics of the song: liking your best friend."

I didn't know if I've mistaken manger-nim smirking.

They've created a list of artists and actors from the company who can be available for the MV. I saw Kyuhyun's name being crossed out with a thin line of a black pen, Minho of SHINee, too. It was said that both cannot be present on the day scheduled; Kyuhyun had to do Radio Star and Minho was still filming for his drama that was produced by SM.

As my eyes landed on Yoo AhIn's name, one staff went to my side and crossed it out. "He just filmed with BoA recently."

"The guy from Only One? Oh, so his name is Yoo AhIn," I uttered. The staff ran the tip of her index figer from tbe top of the list, down. She took out her phone and dialed several numbers. I assumed she was talking to the idols that were included in the list, or their manager.

I took the time to scroll down the list, and spotted one. "Donghae-ssi?"

"Mr. Lee Donghae will be free on that week, we double-checked his schedule with Junghoon."
