The Animal Lovers

It was an awkward silence between me and Mr.Trafalgar while Zoro were dozing off and some animals were playing around him and I couldn't help but to hold the giggle inside me.

"Why do you want to save the feline so much (R/N)-ya?Is it because of Eustass-ya?"Mr.Trafalgar suddenly spoke up which almost scared me since I was focusing on how funny Zoro was surrounded with the animals while he was asleep.

I didn't answer it for a few minutes because I was afraid that he might get mad again but I decided that I might as well tell him since he did a lot for me.

"Well...Not exactly..It's because Kid told me that he saved the kitty but it was badly injured..Today when we were heading to New Day Hospital,I caught a glimpse of the kitty near the alleyway and I saw it was bleeding badly..I just felt that I couldn't ignore it when I saw that it needed my help..Because..every life is important to me.."I told him as I look down on my lap while he was glancing to me who is still keeping my head down.

I heard a faint sigh when suddenly I felt something resting on my head.I glance up and saw that Mr.Trafalgar was resting his hand on my head while smiling a bit at me.

"I don't know if you're an idiot or just simply kind but next time,make sure you tell me before doing this kind of stuff got it?"he smiled at me and I was left with awe.

He rarely smile and seeing his smiling make me feel funny to be honest.After realising that I was staring at him,I finally nod my head as I avert ny gaze from his in hope that he didn't see me blushing earlier but I highly doubt that since I hear his light chuckle.

I just pout till an idea came into my mind.

"Umm,Mr.Trafalgar,how come you and Zoro know this person exactly?Is he one of your friends?"I ask him as I look at him.

"Well,almost.He is a close friend with others at the hospital like Nami-ya and Sanji-ya but I just coincedently met him while I was trying to find a pet"he explained to me and I nod my head.

"Did you manage to find one then?"I ask him again.

"Not really,he introduced me to many kind of animals but none attracts my attention and from that point,he insist me on being his friend ever since.If I never visit him,he'll come and visit me either at my home or at the hospital"he sighed and I couldn't help but let out a small laugh.

He rise and eyebrow at me and I notice his weird look so I try to calm myself down to explain to him.

"I'm sorry,its just that its funny that seeing everyone call you as The Gloomy Doctor has some fun friends"I smiled at him and he couldn't help but to smile too at the fact.

"I suppose so..Life is interesting after all"he chuckled and I nod my head agreeing with his point.

"(R/N)-ya"I heard him call out to me and I glance to him again.

"Yes,Mr.Trafalgar?"I ask him as I tilt my head to side a bit as his face holds a calm expression.

"Just call me Law"he told me and I was left with shock.

"E..Eh!I..Is it okay..?It would be rude of me if I call you like that.."I raise both of my hands infront of me as I assured him that it is okay.

"Hehe,it's alright (R/N)-ya.You're one of my important people after all and I want you to call me just Law after this okay?"he told me and I was hesitant at first till I nod my head with a smile.

"Okay,Law"I smiled brightly at him but I failed to notice that he was blushing to himself.

"I'm sorry about earlier.."he suddenly apologised to me and I was confuse as I pick up a kitty that keep bumping its head at my leg.

"Hehe,why are you apologising for Mr-I mean,Law?"I ask him as I pet the kitty in my hand.

"I'm sorry for griping your shoulders roughly earlier..I was so worried that I let my emotions get the best of me..Does it still hurt?"he ask me as he hold both of mt shoulders with worries present in his orbs.

"Hehe,its okay Law,I understand how you feel.I guess anyone would've been angry too if someone is important to them is in danger right?"I assured him and smiled at me.

"Heh,you're right.You're really apart of someone who is important to me.."he say.

"Oh yeah,that say,why am I someone important to you Law?Aren't I am just as someone who is almost a stranger to you?"I ask him with confusion and he just glance at the kitty in my hands before he look into mine.

He was about to say something till he was interrupted by the sound of the opening door.

"Well!He is safe now!Luckily you guys brought him just in time or he'll probably die due to the loss of too much blood!"the male sigh in relief as he wipe away his sweats on his forehead.

Me and Law went to the male while Zoro was still asleep at the bench.

"I'm glad to hear that..Thank you so much for rescuing him"I thanked the male and he just smiled at me.

"Shishi!Its nothing!My name is Monkey D.Luffy but you can call me Luffy!I don't think I've seen you coming here before,are you a friend of Traffy?"he grin at me as his eyes sparkle with excitement and curiousity.

"Umm,my name is (R/N) and I don't know if I am one of Law's friend since I'm just his assistant.."I sweatdrop as I kept glamcing back and forth to Law who close his eyes now.

"His assistant?What kind?"he ask as his tilt his head in a cute way.

"She is my friend and my assitant of being a doctor.Right now she is a practical doctor but soon she'll be a true doctor"Law cuts me off before I get the chance to say anything and I just glance at his way who is still closing his eyes.

"Oh?Really?Well!If she is your friend then she is my friend too then!Will you be my friend then (R/N)?"the male took my hand and jumped up and down with excitement.

"O..Of course"I laughed as both of us bounce up and down together.

"Yay!(R/N) is my friend too now!Shishi!"he laughed happily as he start dragging me to dance around with him.

I couldn't help but to laugh as we dance in any way we can.He is a funny person and I like him.Law just stare at us as he huff to himself.

We spent our time at Luffy's shop and then Zoro soon wake up only to find his hair was in a mess after the animals was messing around him while he was asleep.He scolded Luffy and we laugh at him at his bad hair.
