"Erik I know you care about me and you want to protect me but I think we need to stay friends. I'm just a singer and your the owner of the opera house. I hope you understand."
"I completely understand Christine. Speaking of the opera house you can come by my office to get your new role for our new opera."
"Ok thank you."
"O and Christine."
"Yes?"
"Please don't tell anyone about my face."
"I understand Erik."
Christine left Erik alone on the roof of the opera house and walked back to his office. Erik felt strangely sad. He knew he couldn't fall in love with a young singer but he couldn't help that he did.
Erik shook the thought away and made his way back down stairs knowing the rest of the cast would be arriving soon.

After rehearsal
Christine walked back to her room very tired from a day of rehearsal. As she stepped in her room she noticed a note on her desk.
"A red scarf, the attic, little Lottie."
"How could you forget the man who ran into a freezing sea to fetch your scarf?"
"Raoul?!"
She said turning around. Raoul her childhood friend was waiting at her door with a red rose.
