Chapter 20

HARRY'S POV

I watched as she swiftly turned around on her heel, her face impassive as I tried to read her expression. Nothing. After everything, all I get was nothing. I felt a pang at my chest knowing that all her feelings towards me vanished because of one stupid mistake I made. It was all my fault and I knew it.

"Harry." She snapped. She put one hand on her hip and raised an eyebrow as if asking me why in the world I was talking to her.

I wanted to know the same exact thing, actually.

"E-Err, I c-can't wait to see the f-film."

A smile came to her lips that gave me a glint of hope. Maybe she didn't hate me after all. She was never the type of person to hold grudges. "Thanks, Haz. I have to go now, though. I'll see you around?"

A wide grin came to my face as I nodded eagerly. She chuckled and walked away but before she turned I got a good glance at her. She'd changed her hair. Instead of it being blonde, she dip died it, so that now it was a light brown that turned into a strawberry blonde color as it went down. She seemed more independent, which just drew me in more. The one thing I couldn't get out of my mind though was how she addressed me.

She called me Haz.

I was brought out of my joyful thoughts by Louis shaking me. I turned to him to see Nina behind him tugging on his shirt and looking eagerly after Roxy. Oh right, they hadn't seen each other since she moved.

"Yes, mate?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"What the hell, lad!? We told you not to talk to her! Uncle Si is going to be-"

"Louis, I will leave your ass here, alone, if you don't let me go to see my sister." Nina said through gritted teeth. She was wearing a red mermaid dress and had done her makeup to suit. Gabey was wearing a light pink dress that hugged her body tightly and ended at her mid thigh. Everyone had been noticing a change in Gabey's dressing habits but no one had the guts to speak up to her about it, definitely not me. We weren't in the best of spots at the moment. Gabey hated my guts for what happened, but I couldn't blame her. I did, too.

"Haz, we will talk later." He demanded before being dragged in the direction of my ex-girlfriend.

I hated calling her that. I wanted her to be mine again. I wanted to be able to kiss her, and hold her whenever I wanted to. If I hadn't gone to that stupid bar on that stupid night, I wouldn't have fucked stupid Sam.

I hated Sam.

She ruined everything for me. She made me cheat on the girl of my dreams and said it was 'payback' for choosing Roxy over her. I may or may not have paid the woman at the lobby to punch her in the face. What she doesn't know won't hurt her.

The movie had just ended and everyone was in tears. The movie was about the boy, Adam taking Samantha, his fiancée, on a romantic picnic but on their drive back, they get into a car crash. Adam loses his memory and doesn't remember anything, how to walk, talk and all the memories Samantha and him shared. Samantha is devastated when Adam decides that he wants to be alone and start fresh, but she doesn't let that stop her. She decides to remake all of the memories they shared starting from the day they met and to the day of the crash. But by the time Adam has witnessed all of these things, he doesn't think he still has feelings for her. He asks her to be friends, and she doesn't know how to respond other than say yes. When Adam is driving her back home, a large truck hits her side of the car. She is taken to the hospital and Adam then realizes his feelings. The memories all flood back making Adam drop down in tears. The doctors come back out with the news that she made it but she has stage 4 leukaemia and only has 2 months left to survive. Adam makes it his mission to make each day one of the best she's ever lived. The two months quickly pass and before they both know it, Samantha drops down in the kitchen, unconscious and her pulse has vanished, just as the doctors expected it.

 Adam was played by Zac Efron, who I noticed was sitting very closely to Roxy in the far back, where the cast sat. Jealous was an understatement. Samantha was obviously played by Roxy.

Everyone was told to remain where they were, which caused a large amount of murmurs while Roxy made her way elegantly down the cinema stairs. She stopped in front of a large podium that I had only now noticed was there, a wide smile on her face.

"Good evening, everyone! How was the show!?" she yelled into the mic. Everyone cheered making me have to block my ears. She giggled. "I'll take that as a good?" More cheers and she laughed. "Okay, okay. I have something really important for all the boys in the house tonight." She grinned cheekily with that little glint in her eye. The crowd erupted into more cheers, the male voices more prominent this time. "I'm just going to cut to the chase. My lovely friend and director, Paulo Thomas has decided to make a movie just for me!" Even louder cheers. Boy, people really loved my girlfriend. I mean, ex-girlfriend. Damn it. She laughed. "We haven't reached the best part yet! The best part is that one of you lucky men in the crowd, will get the chance to be my co-star!" Good bye, ear drums. "Each male has a slip with a number on it underneath their seat. Go ahead, pick it up. Everyone got it? Alright, well. Here, we have a large bowl of those slips with the exact same numbers. I will be picking one and if you have the number I call, you shall make your way up here, next to me, where you will sign this contract stating you will be given the part. May the odds be ever in your favour!" she yelled causing everyone to laugh. She dug her hand into the bowl while all the boys got their numbers out from underneath their seats. I opened mine and read it. 113. She finally pulled one out, after a very long dramatic pause might I add and read it.

"113?"

This was extremely short and I APOLOGIZE. It was a tad rushed but, eh. There will always be a few rushed chapters here and there, yeah?
