"Well as long as Olivia has the cure we're safe right?" I say. Ethan and Grayson looked at each other

Olivia's POV

I walk to my car getting ready to get food when I bump into Ethan's body I step back and sigh. "Yes?"

"Where's the cure?" "Huh?" "Just in case Melissa and her witchy friends know where to find it, you are gonna tell us where it is"

"He meant that as a question. With a Please at the end" Grayson says from behind him

"I'm sorry but I can't tell you" I begin to walk away but he pulls me back "no no no see that's not gonna work"

"I think it's better for all of us if everyone didn't know where it is. It's in a safe place. You can trust me"

"Trust you?" Ethan scuffs "last time I checked you helped sign our death sentence. Hell you practically kill us yourself" "and I'm sorry. But look at you now. You're back. Because from me. I'm sorry but the cure is safer if only I know where it is"

Ethan starts getting closer but Grayson stops him

I step in my car and drive off

I thought the situation was over until I saw Ethan standing at the door to my building later that day

"What do you want now?" "Now that Grayson's not here we're do this another way. My way"

He steps closer. I see the aggression in his face. He was only doing this because he thought I couldn't defend myself so I guess I have to prove him wrong

I start to pop the blood vessels in his brain one by one repeatedly. He grabs his head and groans

I stop before he looses his balance "I'm sorry. You were saying?"

He exhales deeply. "I told you. You can trust me" I move past him and walk inside

Isabella's POV

"I can't trust her" Ethan says

"Yes you can. She's my best friend. She's been on our side Ethan"

"And what about when she wasn't. When she got Grayson to kidnap us" "she didn't know better. Withes have been manipulated by vampire since forever. You can't blame her"

"Fine"

He folds his arms and stands there

"Look. We need to talk about yesterday" I say to him "what is there to talk about?" I raise my eyebrows and give him a look

"Is that a new top?" He asks. "Stop changing the subject" "I'm not I'm just giving a compliment" "yeah but" he phones rings

He quickly answers

"Idiot" he says as he hangs up

"Who was it?" "It's Grayson. He's with Melissa"

We got to her house and walk in to Grayson sitting at a table

"What the hell did you do?" Ethan says. Melissa walks in a says "take a seat. I wanna have a little chat"

We both look at each other and sit at the table

"Now. I have my witch going out to look for the last cure that I know Olivia has. So we are gonna sit here and wait for her to give it to me while we talk. Oh and don't try anything stupid, Brooke here will be more than happy to make you suffer"

We turn to see Brooke in the corner watching

"Grayson how do you feel?" Melissa asks "about what?" "About this. Your miserable miserable life. And you" she looks at Ethan "how does it feel being in the way of true love"

I knew what she was doing

Brooke brings drinks to the table and places a cup in front of each of us

"Drink"

"Gotta lime" Ethan says as the drink is placed in front of him

We were all hesitant but we knew if we didn't we would suffer the consequence

First Ethan. Then Grayson. Then me

"Seriously Grayson how do you feel about this situation. About them"

"It hurts"

"And why does it hurt?"

"Because I love her"

She had given us a truth serum. Everything we said was from the heart so we couldn't lie to spare someone's feeling

"Did you love him?" She asks me

"Yes"

"Were you in love with him?"

"Yes"

"Are you still in love with him?"

"No"

"Hm. Ethan I haven't spoken to you yet" "don't bother"

"Tell me. When did you start to have a thing for her?"

"When we first met. Got worse in the prison world"

"And Bella. Same question" she was having fun with this

"Isn't that the one where Grayson went crazy. I guess if you were there this wouldn't have happened". Grayson looks down at his lap

We here the door open and Olivia walks in

"This what you want?" She holds a box

Melissa walks to her and stares her down. "Too easy"

Melissa snatches the box and opens it

The cure

She turns to us "you're free to go"

We walk out and once we're a good distances way Ethan starts yelling at Olivia. "I told you we couldn't trust her! She just handed over the cure"

"She did it to save us E" Grayson said. "No she's been giving them what they want this whole time"

"I didn't give them the cure" she says to shut him up. "It was a decoy. It's not the real one"

We make it but to their house and Ethan stands in the living room watching the fire place

I walk in

"I'm guess you wanna talk now" he says. "No. Just wanna ask a simple question"

He looks at me "why don't you want me to take it?"

He lets out a deep sigh and keeps his eyes on the fire. "Because if you do you're gonna grow old and die without living enough. Without living enough with me. So no I don't want you to take the cure because I'm a selfish person who wants to live the rest of my eternal life with you. I'm a bad person Isabella. I am bad for you"

"Not even if you took it with me. You still wouldn't want to take it?"

He turns to me and walks closer "I would rather die right now then to grow old with you only to lose you in a matter of years. I'm not gonna change that"

"So what are you sorry?" "I'm not sorry about how I feel. I'm just sorry you had to hear it"

"Fine then I'm not sorry either. I'm not sorry that being with you has made me question everything. That being with you makes me go against my basic morals. That when I lost my memories you were the one that made my feel one again. That dancing with you terrified me and made me go insane. So I'm not sorry I met you. And I'm not sorry that I'm in love with you"

His eyes grow bigger and he mouth parts

"I love you Ethan"

He speeds to me and kisses me
