I walk to his house eager to see him. He hasn't answered my calls or text and I started to get worried

I knock on his door and no answer

I open the door to see Ethan

And Melissa

Standing in front of the door looking like they were saying goodbye

I look down to see that they were both half naked

Melissa smirks at me then walks passed me, nudging my shoulder a bit as she passes

Ethan's POV

Isabella stands in front of me silent. She looked up at me and I saw the hurt in her eyes, I just decided to ignore it

"Did you need something?"

She opens her mouth to say something then stops herself "nevermind"

She leaves slamming the door behind her

Shit

I end up going to get a drink at mystic grill after getting ready

I felt eyes staring at my back. "You don't have to stare"

Brie comes from behind me and stands next to me with pure hatred and annoyance on her face

"I take it Isabella told you. You can hate me all you want. It's not like you haven't done it before"

"Whenever I think there's a single ounce of good in you I'm always proven wrong"

"Then stop thinking" "I didn't come here to scold you, I'm here to warn you"

"Aw but you do it so well"

"Complicated things are going on right now and if you keep this up you'll end up losing everyone you care about. Including Isabella"

"Woah. Woah woah" I grab her arm to stop her from leaving "What's complicated?" "Oh now you care" "seriously what's going on with her?" "Ask her yourself" She pulls her arm away and leaves. I take another sip out of my glass

I look down at the table and hear someone else sit next to me

Melissa

"Got in trouble with Brie?"

"No just strongly warned" she nods "hey can you do me a favor and not sit next to me"

"Why not?" "Because I'm already in trouble I don't want to be in anymore. And plus I don't like you"

I stand from my seat and so does she

"What do you mean you don't like me?" "What I just said, I don't like you. In fact I hate you. Why would you think otherwise?"

Sadness slowly starts to take over her face

"Oh. Did you actually think last night meant something? It was simply a result of loneliness and lots of alcohol. But by all means feel how you want"

I walk away leaving her inside

Wow. She's sadder than I thought

Isabella's POV

I walk through the library looking for cook books for the barbecue in a couple hours

Hopefully I don't screw it up

I pick one out and it falls to the ground

I pick it up and head in the direction to the next aisle. As I turn around I bump the chest of someone
