Grayson's POV

Since Ethan still lives at home I decided to sleep in my old room on the weekends

That beat sleeping in the same room as Chad ANYDAY

Kinda sucks that Kevin and Devion have to stay with him but hey, everyman for himself

I walk out of my room to go to the kitchen and see Ethan standing in the front doorway

"Hey dude I gotta show you something"

Through the past 2 years we got time to recover our relationship

I still love Isabella and always will but I had to come to terms with whatever she wanted and who she wanted to be with. And I couldn't hate Ethan forever

He opens the door my jaw slightly drops in shock

"You bought a motorcycle?"

"Yep"

"Do mom and dad know about this?"

"Well since I don't talk to dad at all and mom is ok with everything...there no need for them to"

"Ok but if you crash it, don't call me to help you pay for it"

Isabella's POV

I met with Olivia and Brie for lunch after class. It was one of the only times during the day we could see each other between classes

I look at my phone to check the time and realize that I was almost late for meeting Jimmy

"Oh no" I say packing up my backpack. "What?" "I have to meet Jimmy for dance practice. He invited me"

"Ooo So hes a junior and he can dance...never let go of him" Brie says

I laughed "it's not a big deal"

"Uh you're dating an older man in his twenties, I think it's a big deal"

"Shut up" I chuckle

"At least you're over Ethan"

"You really hate him huh?"

"Of course I do. Who doesn't?"

I take one last glance at Olivia who just shook her head and left to meet Jimmy

"How do you do this?" I said flopping on the couch exhausted from dance. "Practice" he smiled and handed me a water

I opened it up and drank immediately. He takes a sip and says "now that salsa move, it was totally wrong"

I tilt my head down from drinking "What do you mean wrong?"

"You have to express yourself in your dancing and from how your hips where moving, I couldn't quite feel your emotion" he said in the most artistic and wise tone

"Are you kidding me? My emotions where broadcasted all across that room" I put my hands on my hips. "Fine...show me"

I began to reenact what we did in class. "See your hips are stiff" he gets behind me and puts his hands on my hips "like this"

We stay like this for a while then after a few seconds he scratches the back of his neck and says "I'm uh gonna go use the bathroom. Learn that while I'm gone"

Once I heard the bathroom door close I started to look around

His stuff was so interesting, cluttered but interesting

After walking around I eventually found his office

I walked up to the messy desk and saw papers, articles and files

They were on murders that have happened in the town over the years

I was so invested and curious that I didn't hear him come up from behind me

"Hey what are you-" I turn to him and he looks at the desk and sees everything with a shocked and scared look

"What is this stuff?"

"Don't be scared, I'm no psycho murderer enthusiast" "then what is this?"

He takes a deep breath

"Before I came to college my life wasn't easy. Sometime, a few years ago my family was killed. I was coming home from a friends house and saw blood all over the walls. The only one that survived was my younger brother. He was at movies. When I called the police, I told them how I walked in and saw this so they asked "did you see anyone?""

"Well did you?"

"Yes. I said a vampire killed them"

I came back a little and my heart began to race. He turned and started pacing around the room

"Of course they didn't believe me because who would believe that, so because I didn't fess up they thought I was crazy and put me somewhere. A bad place"

I leaned in. Interested in the story

"It was an asylum. Everyday I told them I was telling the truth but still nothing. While I was there I researched every single murder, every animal attack that town claimed happened to innocent people. Every time I thought I was closer I would still be one step behind. Things just weren't adding up and I started rethinking what happened and accepted the fact that I had to have done this. It was me. And once I said that, after a year of being the asylum they finally released me"

"I'm sorry" is all I could let out after hearing that

"It's ok. I should have gotten rid of this awhile ago"

I couldn't take it anymore and hugged him. But not out of guilt, out of pity. He took the blame for the murder of his family when I KNOW he didn't not do. If it was a vampire, then it was a vampire

I soon left his apartment and walked to my dorm building. I sat on the stoop with my face in my palms

I hear a load engine roar and looked up expecting to see some college jock riding around but instead it was just Ethan

I look at him confused "you got a motorcycle?"

"Yep. Wanna ride?" He asked

I looked at him contemplating whether or not I should

"Oh come on it's not like I could kill us"

I said "what the heck" and climbed on behind him. He handed me a helmet "hold on tight" and we took off

He took me on a 30 minuet ride off campus which really got my mind off of things

The whole time I just held on to him with my head on his shoulder. After all's that's happened today, I finally felt safe in this moment

When he dropped me off I said goodbye and watched as he rode off

I began to walk inside when I see Jimmy standing out side of the dorm building

"What are you doing here?" I asked. "You left your phone. Who was that?" He said with my phone in his hands

I take it and say "thanks. That was just my friend Ethan. He got a motorcycle today and asked me to try it out with him"

"Wow. I've always wanted one for myself" his eyes on the now small image of Ethan riding away
