27~Somethings In The Air

Ethan and I enter the house

"Looks the same" I say and we both look around

"I'm gonna go look for something to drink" Ethan says and walks off

I'm left in the living room

I looked at the pictures on the mantle and could feel the positive memories coming off of them

I came across one of Grayson, Ethan and Cameron in front of an igloo in the winter

"December 24th, 2005. The night we all had the most spontaneous idea to go build an igloo as a pitstop for Santa and his reindeers. Cameron built the whole thing. We help move snow out of the way but we would only make it worse so she would constantly yell at us for doing it wrong. But once we all got inside and had hot chocolate everyone just smiled and had a good time being around each other. It was like we were the perfect family"

"You know what they say, hot chocolate heals a broken heart" I turn and see that he found and bottle of alcohol and two glasses

He hands me one and poured us both some

"So what do we do while we're in this hell hole?" Ethan asks. "Make the best of it" I say

Grayson's POV

I take Brie to my car and start driving to our first destination

"Where are we going?" She asked. "You'll see"

She lets out a deep sign and sits back. "I brought food to snack on until we get there" she looks below her feet and sees a bag of food

She opens it and unwraps a sandwich I made. She takes a bite and holds it in her mouth as she frowns her eyebrows

"It's gross isn't it?" "Mhmm" she spits out the sandwich

"Sorry" she says. "It's fine. I just thought that maybe it would help with the upcoming craves but I guess I was wrong"

I didn't want her to die, I wanted to help her

But I had to respect her choice, it's hers not mine so I have to make her last day the best day she'll ever have

Isabella's POV

Me and Ethan start walking down streets trying to look for things to do

"Did I mention how many people I'd rather be here with because there's a lot"

I sigh "Did I mention that I don't care?"

I soon spot a hospital and we both start walking towards it in hopes to find better food

"Thanks for doing what you did" he says out of nowhere

"What?"

"Even though you didn't succeed, thanks for trying to help doing the sacrifice"

"Don't mention it"

"Why did you do it? You could have just let me die" he says and we enter the hospital

"How could I live with myself if I just let you die without even trying to help? Plus who else would be there to criticize my every move"

We found where the blood bank was and lucky Olivia packed some in there

We grabbed some then sat on the hallway floors to relax a bit

"So you off the animal stuff huh?"

"Since I'm a hybrid now I thought it would be best. I can be stronger and at my full potential"

"Does Grayson know?" He asks. I look down and didn't answer. "Oohh. Why not? Scared of what he'll think?"

"No there just hasn't been a good time to tell him, yeah know with all the things that have happened" "still"
