Mr. Mystery

Your eyes shine like sapphires against the midnight moon

I stand amazed and take in the view

The wind blows your hair freely all around

And I feel as if I've never felt the ground

With one look from you I'm floating on thin air

The waves crash down on the sandy shore as you lean to kiss me once more

Your arms wrap securely around my waist as you pull me in real close

I rest my head on your shoulder and close my eyes

I wake at dawn as light crashes down around me

The beautiful moon on the sandy shore is gone, and with it, is you

You always leave before I can ask you your name

So I've given one to you - Mr. Mystery

It suits you so, and Mr. Mystery, the next time you're in my arms, I won't let go
