I want to slow down
I want to breathe
And really smile
I'm a walking failure
With dreams washed away
Its hard to hold on
If I always let go and fray
I said I would change
I said I would try
But the fighting never ends
And the dragging never dies
I said I'm alright
And I need to believe it
No one gets anywhere
It they just give up and quit
I thought I could fly
And my heart said I could
But my head likes to lie
So my dreams have become cold
One day I'll get up
And nothing will stop me
I'm going to change the world
I'm going to change everything
