Wishing my memory was better
It's like it keeps growing dim
The conversations I just had
The details become thin
The moments I have
Pass by so fast
Wish that I could just close my eyes
And make them last
I blink and the scenes change
I breathe and the atmosphere shifts
The feelings rearrange
And all I have are glances
But as time goes on
It begins to come back
With the notes of a song
And color fills what was once black
Close your eyes
and remember
What it was like to fly
Because the memory lasts forever
